"Guys, just wanted to update you all on something. My house did not sell for $257,000," Zolciak-Biermann shared in a November 2022 Instagram Story. "I mean, seriously, if you think I would ever let go of a home that we have invested millions and millions of dollars in, for a measly $257,000? That's just ridiculous, okay? Seriously."

In Foreclosure — Part 1
In February 2023, it was confirmed by US authorities that the Georgia mansion owned by the pair was facing foreclosure and was scheduled to be auctioned off the following month. According to official court documents, the auction was planned to occur at the Fulton County courthouse steps. The filing indicated that the debt secured by the property had been declared due due to various potential default events, one of which was the failure to make timely payments as specified in the Note and Security Deed. The purpose of the sale was to settle the outstanding debt along with any related expenses, including attorney's fees, as specified in the Security Deed and legal requirements.
Trust Bank began the foreclosure process in August 2022, according to the docs. The legal proceedings started after Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann defaulted on their mortgage.

Kroy Gets to Cleaning the Property
Days later, the Housewife posted a video showcasing the versatility of the retired football player. In the February 2023 clip, she exclaimed, "Find yourself a man who can do it all, folks, alright? Mhm ... yes sir," while Biermann efficiently cleaned the mansion in black boxer briefs.

In February 2023, the co-founder of KAB Cosmetics maintained her image by sharing a virtual tour of her family's luxurious home on social media. She enthusiastically introduced the "Hollywood Room," expressing her fondness for the room's impressive chandelier, measuring 8 feet wide by 7 feet tall, as she revealed in an Instagram Story video. Daughters' Denial
During a February 2023 interview with TMZ, the two daughters of the TV personality, Brielle and Ariana, addressed and dismissed the foreclosure speculation. Brielle clarified that the news concerning their family was a major "misunderstanding" that resulted in a sensationalized foreclosure story making its way to headlines.
“Don’t believe everything you hear,” Ariana told the outlet. “Everything is still there. We all live there.”

News broke in May 2023 about Zolciak-Biermann's divorce filing from her husband of 11 years. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the Florida native specified April 30 as the date of separation.

More Legal Issues Come to Light
Court documents obtained by TMZ in May 2023 reveal that the estranged duo allegedly has a debt of $1.1 million to the IRS, including unpaid taxes, interest, and penalties. The filing specifies that the outstanding taxes relate to the years 2013, 2017, and 2018. Additionally, the document also states that Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann have a $15,000 unpaid tax liability for 2018 owed to the state of Georgia.

Kroy Files for Divorce Again
Following a short period of reconciliation, Biermann initiated divorce proceedings in August 2023 for the second time. In his filing, he sought full legal and physical custody of their four minor children, as well as alimony and child support. Biermann also requested exclusive use of their residence in the Atlanta area, but his request to bar Zolciak-Biermann from the house was not granted.

Kroy Pleads With Kim to List Their Georgia Mansion
Biermann filed court documents in August 2023, seeking to expedite the sale of his and Zolciak-Biermann's home. According to Biermann's lawyer, Marlys A. Bergstrom, he requested the court to order the immediate placement and sale of the house. This action would remove control from the parties involved and address the current situation.
In the subsequent month, Biermann accused Zolciak-Biermann of delaying the sale of the house, intending to prolong their stay in the mansion. However, the estate was scheduled for foreclosure in November 2023.
“[Zolciak-Biermann] has expressed a preference for declaring bankruptcy, which would result in the parties and their children living together for an extended period,” he claimed in a filing dated September 2023. “Due to the lack of funds obtained from selling the marital home, the parties are unable to financially support moving into separate residences.”

Kim and Kroy Finally Put Georgia Estate on the Market

In October 2023, it was confirmed by Us that the estranged spouses have officially put their Georgia residence up for sale at a price of $6 million, just before it would be foreclosed. As per Zillow, the property, boasting seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, was initially listed for $3.2 million in early October. However, on October 16, the price was increased to $6 million.
