According to Tom Holland, Zendaya, one of Hollywood's brightest stars, is not a skilled cook. During an episode of the "Family Trips with the Meyers Brothers" podcast on July 11th, the 27-year-old actor shared that cooking with Zendaya can be quite challenging. Tom mentioned that he takes on the majority of the cooking duties when it's just the two of them, as he prefers not to risk any finger injuries from Zendaya's cooking attempts.

Holland recounted a story of how his relationship with Zendaya was officially confirmed in July 2021. The confirmation came after they were photographed sharing a kiss in a car. Holland substantiated his claim by sharing an incident in which his Spider-Man co-star ended up in the hospital after attempting to cook him a meal at home.

After a day of filming his new TV show, The Crowded Room, in New York City, Holland returned home to find a chaotic scene in the kitchen. There was food scattered everywhere, along with a bloodied cloth and a knife. Holland expressed his shock, saying, "Oh my God, what happened?" He discovered that she had accidentally cut herself quite deeply. Despite her attempts to downplay the injury, Holland insisted that she needed stitches and promptly took her to the hospital.

Holland praised the resilience of the Euphoria actress, sharing that she handled the injury bravely. Without any anesthesia or hesitation, she went ahead and received stitches, showing her strength and resilience. Although Holland did not mention the exact date of the incident, Zendaya had shared on her Instagram Story in July 2022 that she had accidentally cut her finger, coinciding with Holland's filming of The Crowded Room in NYC.

"This is precisely why I refrain from cooking," Zendaya remarked, pointing at her bandaged finger. Later, she provided an update from the hospital by sharing a photo of her hand being treated by medical experts.

"First time getting stitches, haha," mentioned the Dune actress in a mirror selfie where she held up her finger. "I guess I'm back to never cooking again."

Last month, Holland expressed gratitude for his girlfriend's support during the production of his Apple TV+ series, which debuted on June 9. This support even extended to tolerating his character's lengthy and dark hairstyle.
