The Spider-Man actors, Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield, have formed a close bond due to their shared experience playing the iconic superhero on the big screen. Holland revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the trio stays in touch through a group chat, aptly named "Spider-Boys." The actor spoke passionately about the unique brotherhood formed between them, stating that they "really are like brothers." Holland also shared that he asked his fellow Spider-Men to sign a poster for charity, which they happily agreed to do.
Holland: We were talking about how surreal it is that we get to play these iconic characters and how grateful we are for the opportunity. We also like to joke around and make each other laugh, so there’s always some silly banter going on in the chat.
Holland was in London for a charity event organized by the Brothers Trust. He requested the attendees to sign a poster which would be auctioned off for the same cause. The attendees were happy to sign the poster.
Holland: Yeah, Spider-Man stuff.
Will Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield Return As Spider-Man Again?
The camaraderie that blossomed between the three Spider-Men in Spider-Man: No Way Home was undoubtedly the highlight of the movie. Every scene featuring Holland, Maguire, and Garfield together felt like a fan's dream come true. Holland is set to reprise his role as Spider-Man in Marvel's Spider-Man 4 and is expected to remain a part of the MCU for the foreseeable future, with the character slated to appear in both The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. Furthermore, rumors have been circulating about Holland potentially receiving his own trilogy.
Avengers: Secret Wars is rumored to feature a star-studded cast of live-action actors from Marvel's cinematic history, spanning beyond the confines of the MCU. Given the movie's multiverse-themed storyline, it only makes sense to bring together characters from different universes. This presents a perfect opportunity for Holland's Peter Parker to reunite with Garfield's and Maguire's versions of the beloved character. Currently, Peter feels isolated in the MCU, as the spell cast by Doctor Strange in Spider-Man: No Way Home has caused everyone to forget about him.
However, Garfield and Maguire's Spider-Men would still remember Holland's character, and could help him regain a sense of belonging. Both actors have expressed interest in reprising their roles as Spider-Man since their triumphant return in 2021. Garfield is open to exciting new ideas, while Maguire seems eager to appear as Spider-Man in any capacity. With the Multiverse Saga coming to a close and both actors willing to return, it seems like Holland's Spider-Man will soon be reunited with his fellow web-slingers.
