Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for the upcoming finale of Ahsoka. In this episode, there are several storylines that we hope will be resolved, both for the show and the Star Wars universe as a whole. Ahsoka Tano, portrayed by Rosario Dawson, along with her apprentice Sabine Wren, played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo, have been working tirelessly to prevent the return of the exiled Imperial leader, Grand Admiral Thrawn, portrayed by Lars Mikkelsen. They are also determined to bring back Jedi Ezra Bridger, portrayed by Eman Esfandi, who has become trapped alongside Thrawn on a distant planet in another galaxy.
After the events of episode 7, all the main characters have gathered on the extragalactic world of Peridea, except for Hera Syndulla (played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead), who is currently trying to inform the New Republic about the threat of Thrawn's return. Ahsoka and Sabine have successfully reunited with Ezra, while Thrawn is preparing to depart with Nightsisters Morgan Elsbeth and the Great Mothers. Additionally, Baylan Skoll, portrayed by Ray Stevenson, has abandoned his apprentice Shin Hati, played by Ivanna Sakhno, in his pursuit of greater power on Peridea. With all of this in mind, we are eagerly anticipating the resolution of these storylines in the final episode of Ahsoka, along with some predictions.

11 What Baylan Skoll Is Really After
After the introduction of Peridea, Ahsoka finds herself pondering over a crucial question: what is the true nature of the power that Baylan Skoll seeks on this new world? Skoll, driven by his desire to end the perpetual conflict between light and dark in the known galaxy, firmly believes that the forgotten Dathomiri witch kingdom holds the key. Moreover, he suspects that the enigmatic power resonates with the Great Mothers themselves. This precarious situation spells trouble not only for Ahsoka and her allies but also for Baylan Skoll, as the overwhelming might of this power may prove to be his downfall (an outcome that is highly likely).
10 Why The Great Mothers Are Working For Grand Admiral Thrawn
9 What Was In Grand Admiral Thrawn's Crates
In spite of being a formidable trio of powerful Nightsisters, the Great Mothers surprisingly exhibit a considerable amount of subservience towards Grand Admiral Thrawn, referring to him as their lord. The reason for his authority over them has not been fully explained yet, although they assert that their service is demanded by the "Thread of Destiny." This is likely because they also desire to leave Peridea, and Thrawn appears to be their best and possibly only opportunity to do so.
It is possible that Thrawn's control over the Great Mothers originates from a mutually agreed upon arrangement. A significant enigma surrounding Ahsoka revolves around the contents of the crates that Thrawn's forces have been transporting onto his Star Destroyer, named The Chimaera. Since these crates were stored in the catacombs of the Great Mothers' temple, it is logical to assume that they contain bodies. This poses a substantial threat due to the Nightsisters' capability to resurrect warriors as undead beings. Whether these bodies belong to fallen Nightsisters, Thrawn's forces, or a combination of both, the prospect of Thrawn leading an army of the undead holds dark potential.
8 Thrawn's Full Plan & Escape From Peridea
7 Sabine Wren's Training Under Ahsoka Tano
Despite Thrawn's intention to depart Peridea on The Chimaera after connecting with Morgan Elsbeth's hyperspace ring, his subsequent actions in the known Star Wars galaxy remain uncertain. Episode 7 of Ahsoka suggests that Thrawn's primary focus is on successfully escaping, regardless of the fate of his adversaries, even if they are left stranded. Nevertheless, the complete details of his plans remain enigmatic, particularly in light of his apprehension regarding Baylan Skoll's independent agenda.
While Sabine and Ahsoka have reunited in this new Star Wars series to carry on with Wren's training, further details are required regarding the initiation of their training. Although it has been disclosed that they had a fallout after the Purge of Mandalore and the tragic demise of Sabine's family, there are evidently untold aspects of the story that need to be unveiled. Therefore, it would be beneficial for Ahsoka and Sabine to proceed with their reconciliation by discussing their past, particularly now that they are together again on Peridea and Sabine appears to have a connection with the Force.
6 The New Republic's Reluctance To Believe Thrawn & The Empire Are Coming Back
Although the main conflict is occurring on Peridea, Hera Syndulla faces her own challenges with the New Republic on Coruscant. Numerous members of the New Republic doubt Thrawn's reappearance and the existence of the Imperial Remnant. In fact, Hera was almost demoted for disobeying orders to save Ahsoka and facilitate her journey to Peridea, as depicted in previous episodes. Consequently, it appears that the New Republic will only acknowledge the seriousness of Thrawn's return once he actually comes back himself. Regrettably, by that time, it will be too late to prevent the looming threat of a new war.
5 Leia Organa's Role In Hera Syndulla's Story
C-3PO was sent to vouch for Hera, indicating that Senator Leia Organa has wholeheartedly supported Syndulla as the leader of the New Republic's Defense Council. This aligns with Leia's role in the sequels as the general of the Resistance, which received covert backing from the New Republic instead of having an official military. However, the future remains uncertain for Hera, as she was not directly involved with the Resistance, except for potentially responding to Lando Calrissian's call when The Ghost briefly joined the Battle of Exegol in The Rise of Skywalker.
4 Ahsoka's Staff and Full Gandalf Transformation
3 Thrawn's Plans For The Imperial Remnant
:As Ahsoka has progressed, she has come closer to her complete transformation, resembling her appearance at the end of Star Wars Rebels. She now adorns all white attire and wields a mysterious staff. This iteration of Ahsoka, called "Ahsoka the White" by Lucasfilm's Dave Filoni, bears a resemblance to the character Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings and his own metamorphosis. After her symbolic rebirth and spiritual encounter with Anakin, Ahsoka has embraced the color white and is aligning herself with this new version of herself, even though she has yet to acquire her staff. Perhaps it will soon be discovered as a relic of Peridea.
When and if Thrawn makes his probable comeback to the familiar Star Wars galaxy, it will be fascinating to witness his plans for the Imperial Remnant. While his return was pledged to the leaders of the Imperial Shadow Council in The Mandalorian season 3, not everyone perceives Thrawn as the rightful "Heir to the Empire". Moreover, it remains unclear how Thrawn intends to revive the Empire's dominance, although an ongoing alliance with the Nightsisters and their sorcery would undeniably yield a substantial increase in supernatural prowess.
2 Shin Hati's Possible Redemption
As observed in Ahsoka episode 7, Baylan opted to venture alone, leaving his apprentice Shin to pursue her ambitions and command Thrawn's forces. Nevertheless, Ahsoka still extended the opportunity for redemption to Shin, firmly believing in the potential for the Dark Jedi apprentice to abandon the darkness and embrace the light. Considering her master's departure, it now appears plausible that Shin might indeed experience redemption in the final episode of Ahsoka.
1 Anakin Skywalker's Full Force Ghost
Having been seen in Ahsoka's vision and featured in a recorded training hologram, the presence of Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker has unquestionably made an impact in the new Star Wars show. Yet, there remains the possibility for his actual Force ghost to make an appearance, which has long been anticipated by Star Wars enthusiasts. Such an occurrence could contribute to the conclusion of Ahsoka's final episode, adding a significant and thrilling element to the overall narrative.
