After an emotional departure from The Bachelor finale on March 25, Joey Graziadei met up with his runner-up at the After the Final Rose special.
Daisy Kent chose to leave Joey during the final rose ceremony due to doubts about his feelings for Kelsey Anderson. She then decided to have a conversation with Kelsey before heading to the final rose ceremony together — a first in Bachelor history. Daisy expressed to Joey that they weren't a good match, hugged Kelsey, and Joey proceeded to propose to Kelsey.
Daisy revealed to Jesse Palmer during their reunion that she realized Joey had stronger feelings for Kelsey than her a week before the finale. She recalled the moment during the last rose ceremony when Rachel left, and she saw Joey and Kelsey exchange a look that made her realize it wasn't her. Daisy tried to suppress her feelings but felt anxious leading up to their last date, realizing that it shouldn't feel that way.
Joey’s emotional final rose ceremony had been highly anticipated throughout the season. He had hinted at the genuine emotions involved during an interview with We back in February. Joey expressed confidence that viewers would understand the significance of his tears, as he believed it was a unique and unprecedented moment in the show's history.
Daisy quickly emerged as a frontrunner early in the season, capturing Joey's heart. Many guests on Us‘ “Here for the Right Reasons” podcast speculated that she could be the one to receive the final rose, including former Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise contestant Hannah Godwin.

In January, she expressed her admiration for a contestant, saying, "She’s very confident but so subtly confident where she’s just sweet and happy. I think she seems amazing and, I mean, I’m going to be shocked if … I’m thinking he’s going to choose her! This is pretty early on, but they definitely have amazing chemistry."
More recently, TikToker Connor Wood shared his thoughts on the same contestant, saying, “Daisy’s got it in the bag.” The creator, who goes by @fibula, mentioned earlier this month: “No questions. I knew that from the start, kind of. I saw it when they first met, the first episode, they hit it off.”
Daisy quickly became a beloved figure when she shared her story of overcoming Lyme disease and receiving a cochlear implant due to hearing loss. Her inspiring journey struck a chord with viewers, resulting in her amassing over 519,000 followers on Instagram - almost as many as the Bachelor himself!
