Teresa Giudice's Daughter Teases About Managing Dad Joe's Money with Economics Degree

The most recent episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey captured a touching moment as Teresa Giudice and her family bid farewell to her daughter Gabriella Giudice as she left for college.

The episode, which aired on Sunday, May 19, mainly followed Gabriella, who is 20 years old, as she prepared for her journey to the University of Michigan. Viewers got a glimpse of Gabriella discussing her college plans with her father, Joe Giudice, over FaceTime.

Gabriella shared with Joe that she is starting an economics course in her first semester and is looking forward to learning more about it since she plans to major in it. Gia Giudice then playfully mentioned that Gabriella will be in charge of their finances and ensure everything is well managed.

Gabriella enthusiastically agreed, stating that she is confident in her ability to handle people's money effectively.

Teresa, 52, shared in her confession that her ex-husband is not contributing to Gabriella's University of Michigan tuition, but her current husband, Luis "Louie" Ruelas, is helping out.

Teresa Giudice shared on Instagram that Joe is not able to help out right now as he is still working on getting his life together in the Bahamas. She expressed gratitude for being able to cover the expenses.

Teresa and Joe were both sent to prison in 2015 after being found guilty of fraud charges. Teresa spent 11 months behind bars before being released in December 2015. Following her return home, Joe began serving his three-year sentence. After his release in 2019, Joe was deported to Italy, his home country, and has now settled in the Bahamas. (Teresa and Joe were married for 20 years before divorcing in 2020.)

After Gia's father was deported, she chose to pursue a career in criminal justice. In 2023, she completed her Bachelor's degree in criminal justice at Rutgers University. While preparing for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), Gia gained experience working at an immigration law firm. However, she is now considering other paths, such as corporate law.
