Swifties are known for their ability to uncover hidden meanings in lyrics, and they didn't disappoint with one of the more puzzling lines in Taylor Swift's latest song "thanK you aIMee." The track is thought to address her ongoing conflict with Kim Kardashian, and Swift, aged 34, kicks things off with an intriguing mention.
Swift sings about a bronze spray-tanned statue of you in my hometown, with a plaque underneath that threatens to push me down the stairs at our school. Fans quickly tried to connect the dots, and one may have found something significant.
One fan wrote via X, "This is the statue she mentioned at the start of 'thank you, next.' She associates it with Kim because of the snake in the statue."
The fan also posted a screenshot of the Wikipedia page for the statue of Athena Parthenos, situated in The Parthenon in Centennial Park, Nashville.

The page describes the goddess as being 13 meters tall and dressed in armor with a helmet. She is depicted holding a shield in her left hand and a 1.8 meter high statue of Nike in her right hand. Positioned between the shield and the goddess is a massive snake.
The mention of the snake may be a nod to the ongoing feud between Kardashian and Swift. Back in 2016, Kardashian leaked a private phone conversation between Swift and Kanye West, claiming it showed Swift giving her approval for her name to be used in West's song "Famous."
In 2019, Taylor Swift shared about a past experience where she was called a snake online, starting a hate campaign against her.
This incident led to snakes and snake emojis becoming symbols of the ongoing feud between Swift and Kim Kardashian.
As for the fan’s theory about the statue, he received some back-up from fellow Swifties in the comments.
One wrote, “OH WAIT UR SMART,” while another simply commented, “OMG.”
There were a few people who pointed out that Swift's hometown is West Reading, Pennsylvania, not Nashville. However, Swift and her family moved to Music City when she was 14 years old and she has been closely connected to the area ever since.
In fact, Swift has two properties in Nashville, one of which is a penthouse apartment situated less than a mile from the Parthenon and the statue in question.
