Kim Kardashian's love life has been in the public eye for many years, regardless of who she's been romantically involved with. She has been married three times since 2000, her first marriage being to producer Damon Thomas at the age of 19. The marriage lasted for three years before ending in 2003. Kardashian also tied the knot with NBA star Kris Humphries in 2011, with their relationship and engagement being documented on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Unfortunately, their marriage only lasted for 72 days before they split and she filed for divorce in October 2011. The divorce was finalized in April 2013 after a contentious court battle.
"I felt like I was under pressure to tie the knot with Humphries," she later revealed. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in 2017, the KKW Beauty founder opened up about her thought process, saying, "I just thought, 'Oh my God, I'm 30 years old. I need to get my life sorted out. I need to get married.' I think a lot of women go through that same feeling where they panic, thinking they're getting old and need to figure everything out. All their friends are starting families, and they feel like they're falling behind."
Kardashian added, “I knew on the honeymoon it wasn’t going to work out.”
In 2012, Kardashian began dating Kanye West — and fell for him very fast.
After going through a difficult breakup, she found herself feeling low and down. It was then that he suggested she come to Paris and attend his fashion show. He even joked that he put on the entire show just to get a date with her. Despite her initial hesitance, she took him up on the offer and flew out to Paris. From the moment she landed, she fell head over heels for him and realized that this was what real love and support felt like. It wasn't long before they started dating and eventually tied the knot in a lavish Italy ceremony in 2014. They now have four beautiful children together.
In February 2021, it was confirmed that the founder of Skims had initiated divorce proceedings after being married for six years. Despite moving on with Pete Davidson after hosting Saturday Night Live in October 2021, it was later confirmed in August 2022 that Kardashian and Davidson had ended their nine-month-long relationship.
In the third season of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian, the founder of Skims, expressed her desires for a potential partner. In the June 2023 episode, she stated that she needs someone who will protect and fight for her, and good hygiene is a given. Moreover, she prefers a partner who is calm, without any mom or dad issues, patient, supportive, genuinely happy for her, and successful. Kardashian also looks for spontaneity and fun in a partner who is loved by her friends and family. Lastly, she wants someone who can be a role model for her kids, especially her boys who can look up to him.

During an interview on House of ACES presents The Debut Live hosted by Carl Lamarre, the rapper revealed that he had dated Kardashian more than a decade ago, despite being friends with Ray J. They began dating, but despite his interest in her, he remained dedicated to his Xbox, thanks to her impressive internet connection. Eventually, they went their separate ways and the SKKN By Kim founder began a relationship with Reggie Bush, likely in the early 2000s.
