Taylor Armstrong revealed the reason why she doesn't watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

"I stopped watching mostly the Beverly Hills girls because I love them all so much and watching them fight," Armstrong, 52, exclusively told We at the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center grand opening in West Hollywood on Thursday, April 25.

I understand how stressful it can be when you're in a situation where you're arguing with your friends on camera. The pressure can be overwhelming, and I remember feeling like I couldn't even watch it. It was really upsetting to see them yelling at each other.

Armstrong was part of the original cast of RHOBH before she left the show in 2016 to join Real Housewives of Orange County instead. When asked about her decision to leave RHOBH, Armstrong explained that being on a show that focused on women fighting with each other went against the work she was doing for women's empowerment.

"I have several other projects on my plate right now. One of my major focuses is women's empowerment, and working on Empowered Experts is a significant endeavor for me. It will require a lot of my time, as we offer courses, retreats, and various activities for women to support and uplift each other. It can be challenging at times to see my friends argue on TV and then switch to promoting empowerment. The two don't always align seamlessly."

"I'm currently working on scripted television projects, which has been a lot of fun for me. It's a great change to portray someone else on screen and not have to worry about getting into trouble by playing myself."

Armstrong may not watch RHOBH, but she still supports her friends like Kyle Richards. Richards, who is 55 years old, has not decided if she will be back for season 14. Despite this, Armstrong believes that Richards will likely continue on the show.

Taylor shared with Us that she can't picture the show without Richards. She also thinks it could be beneficial for her friend to take a break from the show for a year and focus on her happiness without the added pressure of being on television while dealing with other personal matters.

"It's good to take a break and relax for a bit," she mentioned. "I'm not sure if she knows how to do that though. She's been working non-stop for a long time." Kyle mentioned in March that if she decides to come back for season 14, it would be a last-minute choice.

Taylor Armstrong's decision to distance herself from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is a testament to her personal growth and commitment to women's empowerment. While she cherishes the friendships she made on the show, the constant conflict and negativity portrayed on-screen clashed with her values. Armstrong's pursuit of scripted television projects and her involvement in initiatives like Empowered Experts demonstrate her desire to contribute positively to society.

Armstrong's support for Kyle Richards, despite her departure from the show, highlights the strength of their bond. She recognizes Richards' dedication and the potential benefits of a break from the intense demands of reality television. Armstrong's suggestion that Richards prioritize her well-being and happiness aligns with her own journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
