Real Housewives of Orange County Star Taylor Armstrong Reveals Her Secret Lesbian Love Affair
Real Housewives of Orange County's Taylor Armstrong bravely shares her journey of self-discovery, discussing her past 5-year relationship with a woman alongside her current marriage to John Bluher
Taylor Armstrong shared her candid perspective on love during a recent episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County. The 52-year-old reality star, in a rare moment, disclosed that she identifies as bisexual.
"Discovering that I'm bisexual often catches people off guard, mainly due to the influence of stereotypes," she confided to the cameras. "Although I don't flaunt it, I embrace individuals with remarkable souls whom I can love."
Prior to her marriage to Russell Armstrong, Taylor shared that she was in a five-year relationship with a woman. She humorously remarked that she knew marriages that didn't endure for the same duration.
The TV personality initially appeared on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2010 to 2013 as a regular cast member before transitioning to guest appearances. Throughout her time on RHOBH, viewers witnessed the highs and lows of Taylor's marriage to Russell. In July 2011, Taylor filed for divorce due to physical and verbal abuse, and one month later, Russell tragically took his own life.
Following her ordeal, Taylor, who authored the book "Hiding from Reality," found love again with her current husband John Bluher. The couple exchanged vows in 2014, and Taylor has since expressed gratitude for John, 64, as he has significantly altered her perspective on marriage.
"That's why I believe I am currently married. I never thought I would trust another person after my first marriage," Taylor revealed exclusively to We in June 2022 while comparing her marriages. "In my previous relationship, there were countless lies that were accumulated. However, having someone who supported me, even during moments when we couldn't stand each other, is what led to the immense level of trust I have in him. This connection ultimately turned us into best friends."
Initially, Taylor had reservations about entering the dating scene again following her separation from Russell.

"I felt deeply betrayed," she confided to Us. "If it hadn't been someone I trusted so profoundly, considering everything I've endured, I doubt I would have ever pursued another relationship."
During that period, Taylor acknowledged how her Bravo experience had impacted her dating prospects. "When your life unfolds on television, it's difficult to imagine meeting someone new and not assuming they already hold preconceived notions about you," she explained.
