The iconic reality TV show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is set to make a comeback with its 13th season. However, it seems the show will undergo some changes this time around.
Following an intense reunion in October 2022, one of the show's longstanding stars, Lisa Rinna, made the announcement of her departure from the series after a successful eight seasons. In a statement to We, Rinna expressed her gratitude to Bravo and all those involved in the show, and acknowledged her excitement for what the future holds.
"After Lisa's contract came to an end last season, she and Bravo had discussions about her return to RHOBH. Ultimately, they mutually decided that Lisa will not be returning, considering her current options and business obligations," said the representative of the former soap star. In a January 2023 interview with Interview magazine, the actress spoke about her final season on the show, revealing that she did not have a great experience. "I had a terrible time this year, for various reasons," she said. "Although my mother's passing was undoubtedly a factor, the story wasn't told as fairly as I would have preferred."
Following the passing of her 93-year-old mother, Lois Rinna, in November 2021, Lisa Rinna found herself embroiled in drama with her co-star Kathy Hilton after the group's season 12 trip to Aspen, Colorado. During a night out at a club, Lisa accused Hilton of insulting several cast members, including her sister Kyle Richards, while having a meltdown back at their hotel. Unfortunately, there were no cameras to capture the incident, and Lisa didn't think to turn on her voice memos in the moment. She explained to Interview that when someone is having a breakdown, filming it isn't the first thing that comes to mind.
Diana Jenkins, who joined the RHOBH cast for season 12, bid farewell to Bravo ahead of season 13. The pregnant businesswoman shared on January 9, 2023, via Instagram that she would not be returning due to her high-risk pregnancy and doctor-advised bed rest. Jenkins expressed gratitude to Bravo and Evolution for understanding her situation and allowing her to prioritize her pregnancy. She also promised to continue sharing her fertility journey with her followers.
