Psychic Allison DuBois, at 51 years old, reflected on her appearance and prediction on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' first season amidst Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's split. Despite some people expecting her to be pleased about being right, Allison revealed that she was actually unhappy about it. In an exclusive interview with We on July 6, while promoting her podcast "The Dead Life," she explained that predictions like these can sometimes bring unhappiness when they are confirmed, much like predicting the end of a relationship.
In the 2010 episode titled "Dinner Party From Hell" of season 1, Allison received an invitation from RHOBH alum Camille Grammer to attend a gathering with some fellow cast members. The psychic, who served as inspiration for the TV series Medium, conducted a reading for Kyle, who is 54 years old. During the reading, the psychic made a claim that Kyle and Mauricio would not have a lasting relationship. On July 3rd, Us confirmed that the couple decided to end their 27-year marriage.
"I revisited the words that I used at that time, stating that he would never emotionally fulfill her," she explained to Us. "I still stand by that statement."
Allison, on the other hand, expressed disappointment with the gathering, describing it as unenjoyable and excessively lengthy.
"Right from the start, Kyle emitted a strong sense of anger. She kept a close eye on me, seemingly analyzing and evaluating me, while all I wanted was to simply have a good time," she revealed. "I was under the impression that it was a girls' night. I was thrilled since I rarely have the opportunity to attend such events due to my work commitments."

Allison expressed her excitement for the party, but deep down she had a premonition that drama was bound to happen, making it a legendary episode in RHOBH history.
Following the episode, viewers theorized that Allison misinterpreted Camille's energy as Kyle's. Camille, aged 54, went through a highly publicized divorce from Kelsey Grammer in 2011, just one year after the episode initially aired. Though Allison and Camille were once close friends, the medium admitted that their friendship has since faded.
Alison conceded that she felt "mortified" when Camille showed her the recording of the episode before it was broadcasted, following the dinner party. "However," she added, "it was even more disconcerting to witness the edited version, where she manipulated it to portray me as excessively consuming alcohol. What bothered me the most was that she had pre-recorded that segment." Alison admitted that she struggled to maintain her friendship with Camille after this incident.
Allison, known for her iconic appearance on the Bravo hit, has ventured into the world of podcasting with her own show called "The Dead Life." In this podcast, she engages in enlightening conversations with individuals who have had firsthand encounters with death or claim to have experienced life beyond it.
"I find it truly fascinating to hear diverse individuals from all walks of life openly discuss their personal encounters with the afterlife. And my audience thoroughly enjoys it," she expressed, emphasizing her conversations with professionals such as doulas, pet psychics, and many others. "Each episode brings something unique, and I genuinely relish hosting this podcast."
“The Dead Life” has new episodes available every Tuesday and is available to listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and more.
