Celebrities like JoJo Siwa, Jodie Sweetin, and more share their thoughts on Candace Cameron Bure's controversial stance on 'traditional marriage' in a thought-provoking discussion

Candace Cameron Bure received criticism for her departure from Hallmark Channel to join Great American Media due to her controversial reasoning.

The Fuller House star made waves in November 2022 when discussing her switch to a new network. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal's WSJ. Magazine, she explained, "My passion lies in storytelling that has more depth, meaning, and purpose." She also mentioned her decision to move to Great American Media, citing her alignment with the network's Christian values and commitment to promoting faith-based programming and family-friendly entertainment.

When asked about the possibility of including LGBTQIA+ movies in Great American Media's plans, Cameron Bure responded by emphasizing the company's commitment to traditional marriage. Bill Abbott, who became head of Great American Media after leaving Hallmark in 2021, acknowledged current trends in 2022 and indicated that the network does not have a definitive stance on expanding its programming in that direction.

Celebrities including Hilarie Burton Morgan were quick to call out the California native for her comments.
