Candace Cameron Bure and Valeri Bure have been fortunate in their love for 27 years, but the former Full House star recently overlooked a certain aspect of their anniversary. In a video shared on her Instagram Story on Thursday, June 22, Cameron Bure, 47, playfully admitted, "Here's the truth: My husband is incredibly thoughtful and always remembers everything on our anniversary, while I tend to forget. And this year, I forgot. It's not that I forgot it was our anniversary today, but June is a busy month for us with Val's birthday, Father's Day, my mom's birthday, and so much more!"
She exclaimed, "It feels like the grandest month of the year for me, with my birthday and our anniversary coinciding. However, amidst celebrating my husband's birthday and Father's Day, I showered him with numerous gifts and completely overlooked our anniversary."
The GAC Media star revealed to her retired hockey player husband, aged 49, in the morning that she had forgotten to get him a present. In response, he lovingly told her, "Baby, you are always my gift."
Cameron Bure expressed her excitement in an Instagram post, stating, "Love, truth, honesty, and grace" as the key ingredients to a successful 27-year marriage. To celebrate the milestone, Bure surprised his wife with "27" balloons, a bouquet of pink roses, and two beautifully wrapped gifts, followed by an elegant dinner.
Despite having three children, the couple's affection for each other remains strong.
Cameron Bure expressed her appreciation for tasteful public displays of affection, stating that she enjoys being affectionate with her husband and children in public. She believes that this aspect contributes to the close bond shared by their family. Addressing the criticism she received for a photo in which her husband rested his hand on her bosom, Cameron Bure emphasized that after 24 years of marriage, their relationship remains exciting and enjoyable, contrary to common misconceptions about long-term marriages. Additionally, their daughter Natasha also found the social media post amusing.
"He rarely poses for photos with anyone in our family, but whenever he does, it's a perfect shot," she revealed in an exclusive interview with We in November 2021. "I couldn't help but laugh. He's incredibly private, unlike my mom and me who tend to share a lot on the internet. However, when he does venture online, he's a complete riot and extremely entertaining. He's honestly a comedic genius."
