Candace Cameron Bure has been involved in multiple conflicts with other famous individuals.
During her tenure as cohost on the View between 2015 and 2016, Bure gained attention for her disagreement with Raven-Symoné regarding an Oregon bakery's refusal to support same-sex marriage. At that time, the That's So Raven actress argued that the bakery was engaging in discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.
The former Hallmark star disagreed with the statement based on her belief in the First Amendment. Despite their inability to find common ground on screen, Bure expressed satisfaction with how she conducted herself.
In an interview with HuffPost Live in August 2015, she disclosed, "I received a mix of challenging and personal feedback, some of which attacked me, and there was also some positive feedback. As a Christian, I may not have made the same choices as the bakers, but I will always advocate for freedom."
Years later, Bure faced controversy after being labeled the "rudest" celebrity by JoJo Siwa. In July 2022, the former Dance Moms star recounted an unpleasant encounter with Bure, leaving her unimpressed with the actress.
During the same month, Bure disclosed that she had reached out to Siwa in an effort to address their past issues. In response, Siwa accused Cameron Bure of withholding certain details from their meeting. Siwa shared with Page Six, "When you're young and someone says something that etches into your memory forever – I believe we've all experienced such a moment – and I feel that this was that moment for me."

Candace Cameron Bure's Biggest Feuds Through the Years — and Where the Relationships Stand Now
Candace Cameron Bure has been involved in numerous conflicts with other well-known personalities.
During her time as a cohost on The View from 2015 to 2016, Bure gained attention for her disagreement with Raven-Symoné regarding an Oregon bakery that opposed same-sex marriage. Back then, the That's So Raven star contended that the bakery was engaging in discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.
The ex Hallmark actress, on her part, disputed the statement based on the First Amendment. Despite the lack of consensus on screen, Bure later expressed satisfaction with her conduct.
"When I read the feedback, I encountered both harsh, personal attacks and positive remarks," she stated during an interview with HuffPost Live in August 2015. "As a Christian, I might not have made the same choices as the bakers, but I will always stand up for our freedom."
Years later, Bure faced criticism when JoJo Siwa labeled her the "most impolite" celebrity she had ever encountered. In July 2022, the former Dance Moms star recounted an unpleasant incident with Bure that left her less than satisfied with the actress. Also in that month, Bure disclosed that she reached out to Siwa to address their previous issues. In response, Siwa claimed that Cameron Bure didn't provide a comprehensive account of their meeting. Siwa told Page Six, "When you're young and someone says something to you that you never forget for the rest of your life — I think we've all experienced that moment — and I feel like this was that moment for me."

Raven-Symone
In 2015, a controversial discussion arose among the cohosts of The View regarding an Oregon bakery's refusal to create a wedding cake for a same-sex couple. Bure defended the bakery's decision based on their religious beliefs, whereas the former Disney Channel star questioned the perceived discrimination against the LGBTQIA community.
Current Status: At that time, the California native revealed that she and Symoné embraced each other during a commercial break in an interview with the conservative website TheBlaze.
After leaving the talk show in 2016, Cameron Bure and Symoné subsequently opened up about the challenges they faced while being a part of The View. In a joint interview on the show's "Behind the Table" podcast, the former cohosts revealed that they had originally anticipated focusing less on politics when they first joined. Interestingly, they seemed to have resolved their previous disagreements and were on amicable terms.

JoJo Siwa
During a TikTok challenge, Siwa sparked controversy by sharing a negative encounter involving Cameron Bure. In a surprising turn of events, the two stars actually addressed the incident through a phone conversation.
The Nebraska native, however, discussed her challenging past encounter with Bure, acknowledging that it does not make her a terrible person. The Siwas Dance Pop Revolution star expressed to Page Six in July 2022 that it was simply an inconvenient time for Bure, and although she was enthusiastic at the age of 11, it does not make Bure the worst person ever.
Current Status: In response to Siwa's remarks, Cameron Bure's daughter, Natasha Bure, defended her mother on social media. She expressed on Instagram, before removing the post, that being declined a photo does not constitute a "rough experience." Natasha Bure also commented on the sensitivity and lack of resilience in today's generation.
Cameron Bure, meanwhile, has not yet made any public statement regarding her daughter's reaction or Siwa's recent allegations about the Great American Family star omitting certain details in her video.

Matthew Koma
Amid the ongoing feud between Siwa and Cameron Bure, Koma also took to social media to address the Some Kind of Wonderful actress. In July 2022, the songwriter shared a TikTok video of Cameron Bure, where she is seen dressed in red, white, and blue to celebrate Independence Day. In the background of the video, Koma noticed that the song playing was Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA." He pointed out an important detail about the song, stating that it actually depicts the struggles of veterans returning from the Vietnam War and how they were mistreated, rather than being solely about the 4th of July.

Hilarie Burton Morgan
In November 2022, the actor from One Tree Hill publicly criticized Cameron Bure for her remarks about leaving Hallmark for Great American Media. Burton Morgan tweeted, "Candy is a bigot. I don't recall Jesus approving of hypocrites like her. But go ahead, make your money. Ride that wave of prejudice all the way to the bank."
During an interview, Cameron Bure subtly implied that Great American Family movies would not feature same-sex couples. "I believe that Great American Family will prioritize traditional marriage," she stated in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. President and CEO of Great American Media, Bill Abbott, also commented, "We are aware of the current trends in the year 2022. We don't have a set policy that definitively says 'yes' or 'no' regarding this matter."
Where They Stand Now: Two days later, Cameron Bure responded to the criticism surrounding her interview by releasing a statement on Instagram. Instead of directly mentioning Burton Morgan, she chose to address "those who despise the principles I hold dear and are launching online attacks against me" and "those who have attempted to destroy my reputation."

Miss Benny
In July 2023, Miss Benny took to TikTok to accuse Bure of orchestrating their removal from Fuller House based on their character, Casey, being gay.
According to Miss Benny, they were informed by the writers and studio about Bure's alleged attempts to eliminate their character and prevent the inclusion of a queer character on the show.
Bure has denied the claims made by her former costar. She stated that she never requested for Miss Benny's character to be removed from Fuller House and did not ask the writers, producers, or studio executives to exclude queer characters from the show. Bure expressed that Fuller House has always embraced a diverse range of characters and acknowledged Miss Benny's performance as 'Casey'. However, she mentioned that they did not share any scenes together, so they did not have much interaction on set. Bure concluded by wishing Miss Benny all the best.
