Spider-Man Noir, the gritty alternate universe version of Peter Parker, is set to star in his own live-action series. Here's everything we know about the upcoming production.
Debuting in 2009, Spider-Man Noir was created by writers David Hine and Fabrice Sapolsky, along with artists Carmine Di Giandomenico and Marko Djurdjevic. The character first appeared in a self-titled miniseries under the Marvel Noir banner, and later appeared in a sequel titled Spider-Man Noir: Eyes Without a Face.
Spider-Man Noir made appearances in various comic book storylines, including the 2014 crossover Spider-Verse. The character also appeared in multiple Spider-Man TV shows and video games. However, Spider-Man Noir gained widespread recognition in the 2019 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, voiced by Nicolas Cage. Due to its popularity, Sony Pictures approved a Spider-Man Noir TV series, set to debut in 2023.

Editor's P/S
As a Gen Z fan, I'm thrilled about the upcoming Spider-Man Noir live-action series. The character's dark and gritty take on the classic Spider-Man story is something I've always found intriguing, and I can't wait to see how it's brought to life in a live-action format. The fact that the series will be set in 1930s New York City adds an extra layer of excitement, as it's a time period that I find particularly fascinating.
I'm also intrigued by the fact that the series will not feature Peter Parker as the main character. This opens up the possibility for a fresh and unique take on the Spider-Man mythos, and I'm eager to see who the new protagonist will be and how they'll differ from Peter Parker. Overall, I have high hopes for the Spider-Man Noir series and can't wait to see more details about it as they're released.
