If you didn't get the chance to see Miles confront every Spider-Person in the multiverse on the big screen, don't fret - Sony's Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be back in IMAX theaters on January 19. Christopher Miller, the writer and producer of Spider-Verse, announced on X/Twitter that fans will have the opportunity to see the movie again in theaters. The tweet states:
If you didn't have the opportunity to experience ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE on the big screen - where you can truly appreciate the stunning level of detail and innovation infused into each frame - fret not! It is making a comeback to IMAX for a limited release on January 19. Don't let this chance slip away!
Around 100 artists departed from the project because of the frequent changes. The crew often worked 11-hour days, seven days a week, to meet the movie's release deadline.
Check out our Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse review in which Phil Owen describes it as "A visual spectacle unlike anything I've ever seen in a movie theater. It's truly transcendent. Perhaps, for this film, that's all that really counts in the end."
Editor's P/S
As a passionate fan of Spider-Man and animated movies, I am thrilled to hear that Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse will be swinging back into theaters this month. The first movie was an absolute masterpiece, and I can't wait to see what the sequel has in store. I'm particularly excited to see Miles Morales team up with other Spider-People from across the multiverse. The possibilities are endless, and I can't wait to see what kind of adventures they'll get into.
I also appreciate the fact that Sony is releasing the movie in IMAX theaters. This will give fans the opportunity to experience the movie in the best possible way, with stunning visuals and immersive sound. I highly recommend that everyone who hasn't seen the movie yet to take advantage of this opportunity and see it on the big screen. You won't be disappointed!
