Sofía Vergara is open to getting plastic surgery. In an interview with Allure on May 28, she mentioned that she is willing to undergo various procedures when the time is right. She expressed her desire to have more time for downtime as she feels restricted by her busy schedule in front of the camera. Sofía feels that she would have already undergone treatments if she had the luxury of staying home to recover for weeks.
Vergara relies on Botox for her beauty routine. She has been using Botox around her eyes and neck for a long time. According to the actress, she does not believe in using filler at her age.
She explained that filler works well for younger individuals who want to enhance their cheeks or plump their lips. However, Vergara feels that at her age, filler may not make you appear younger but rather more artificial. She believes that filler does not lift you up, but instead weighs you down. Therefore, she is against using it once you reach a certain age.
Vergara keeps her skin looking young not just with Botox, but also by religiously using sunscreen. She believes it really makes a difference, as she can see the effects on her friends who never used sunscreen and are now regretting it.
Her favorite sunscreen is from her own brand, the Toty Ilumina CC Creamy Compact SPF 50+. This product is available in 15 different shades and costs $54.
Earlier this month, Vergara talked to People about her thoughts on beauty. She believes that confidence is the most attractive quality in a person. According to her, many times people imagine things that are not true or real. She feels that when you find confidence within yourself as you grow older, it can be liberating.
Editor's P/S:
Sofía Vergara's candid approach to plastic surgery reflects a growing trend among celebrities and the general public. As the stigma surrounding cosmetic procedures fades, individuals are becoming more open about their experiences and motivations. Vergara's emphasis on timing and proper recovery highlights the importance of carefully considering the impact of surgery on one's lifestyle and overall well-being.
Vergara's preference for Botox and sunscreen over fillers aligns with current aesthetic trends that prioritize natural-looking results. Botox, a neuromodulator, temporarily relaxes muscles to reduce wrinkles, while sunscreen protects the skin from harmful UV rays that can cause premature aging. Vergara's belief in the transformative power of confidence echoes the growing recognition that inner beauty radiates outward, enhancing one's overall appearance and well-being.
