A lot more went down in the pods than what viewers saw on Love Is Blind season 5.
Paige Tillman and Josh Simmons, who were not included in the Netflix reality series, disclosed recently that they found love during the filming process. Paige took to Instagram Reels to announce their engagement and shared a montage of their moments together. She expressed their excitement in discovering love in the pods. From the start, they were each other's first pod dates and top choices. Their story is enriched with love, enchanting moments, and pure happiness, devoid of any drama.
After the show, Paige elaborated that she and Josh initially carried forward their relationship and made preparations for their wedding. Nevertheless, the couple eventually separated upon realizing that their desires for life were divergent.
"We have decided to end our engagement, although we still hold nothing but affection and admiration for each other. Our bond, formed through LIB, is something we greatly appreciate and would willingly recreate," she expressed.
In a separate post recapping her Love Is Blind experience, Paige shared photos of herself showing off her engagement ring.

“This is right after I announced my engagement to Josh,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram slideshow posted on Monday, October 9. “I recall this moment being one of the happiest in my life. Despite the fact that our relationship didn't work out, I decided to share it because it was such a beautiful experience and I wanted to be the one to tell our story. I will be sharing more soon. Thank you again for all the kind responses, you all are so sweet.”
Some fans were unsure about Paige and Josh’s current relationship status, leading to questions in the comments section. When one social media user clarified the situation by stating, “They got engaged on the show, stayed together after filming, and have recently ended their relationship,” Paige “liked” the message, seemingly confirming its accuracy.
On Tuesday, October 10, Paige utilized her Instagram Stories to provide further insight into her personal journey. She tantalizingly hinted at an upcoming episode of the "Real Tawk" podcast, where she would divulge the undisclosed details about her relationship with Josh that took place away from the cameras. Tearfully, she expressed her sorrow over the fact that she and Josh did not receive the opportunity to be showcased on the show.
During the second season of Love Is Blind, two couples, Paige and Josh, weren't the only ones who were not featured on camera. Fans discovered in 2022 that two couples from the same season had actually become engaged but were not included in the final series.
Caitlin McKee took to social media to disclose that she and Joey Miller had experienced a blossoming relationship within the pods and had even become engaged, albeit their relationship ultimately ended.
Kara Williams and Jason Beaumont, cast members of Love Is Blind, recently revealed through their social media accounts that they got engaged off camera before ending their relationship. Don't forget to catch the season 5 finale on Netflix, set to premiere on Friday, October 13.
