Love is healing! Love Is Blind’s Micah Lussier is thriving following her split from ex-fiancé Paul Peden.

Lussier, 27, took to Instagram on Thursday, June 8th, to share a video montage of moments from her life over the past year. The reality star reflected on her journey and expressed her current state of happiness, stating that she has never felt lighter and more in tune with herself. The video showcases a range of emotions from tearful moments to joyful experiences, including traveling the world, indulging in delicious food, and spending quality time with friends at the lake. #mentalhealthawarenessmonth.

Recently, Micah posted on social media, which comes shortly after her former fiancé Peden introduced his new girlfriend Geneva Dunham on the same platform. Peden shared a cute selfie of him and Dunham during their California trip, with a caption that read, "Maybe best cocktails in San Diego." Lussier and Peden got engaged on season 4 of the Netflix dating show in March, but they faced several obstacles, including Micah's feelings for another contestant, Kwame Appiah, and ultimately didn't end up getting married.

Lussier wanted Peden to be the first to say "I do" at their wedding, as she believed it was a crucial moment for him to show his willingness to take the risk and make the leap of faith. She explained in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in April that she feared if she answered first, Peden might only say yes because she did, rather than answering from his heart. Meanwhile, Peden admitted to feeling torn until the very moment he stood in front of his beloved bride.

"I didn't make the decision immediately after saying it," he clarified. "But eventually, I realized it was the right call at that time. Marrying someone involves more than just loving the person in that moment. Although we cherished our relationship at that point, we acknowledged that there were other important factors to consider."

After the show ended, the couple gave their relationship another chance. However, they eventually came to the conclusion that it was best to end things permanently before the season 4 reunion in April.

Micah revealed to Entertainment Tonight that they had made the decision to give their relationship a shot, and eventually did so. However, the challenge of maintaining a long-distance relationship was compounded by a shaky foundation. Peden's admission that he couldn't envision the marketing campaign manager as a mother caused him to face criticism from both Lussier and cohost Vanessa Lachey, solidifying the end of their romantic involvement.

"I've come to realize that my hope for a future with Paul was misplaced. It's disappointing to hear that there was never really a possibility for us, but it's time for me to let go and focus on personal growth and moving forward," she shared with ET in April.
