Love Is Blind Star Jessica Batten Embraces Motherhood: Heartwarming First Baby Picture

Jessica Batten and Dr. Benjamin McGrath joyfully announced the arrival of their precious baby boy, Dax, on June 9. The couple, aged 38 and 36 respectively, shared this delightful news with their loved ones on Saturday, June 17.

In the pictures shared on social media, the joyful couple can be seen cuddling their newborn baby and later introducing him to his older siblings named Poppy, aged 7, and Ethan, aged 6. (It is worth mentioning that McGrath has his eldest children from a previous relationship.) The Love Is Blind season 1 participant initially announced her pregnancy in January through her social media accounts.

"New Year, Same Me, New Mom!," Batten announced on Instagram accompanied by a series of stunning maternity shoot photographs. As we step into 2023, I extend my warmest wishes and blessings to all. It is with immense joy and gratitude that we reveal the upcoming arrival of our precious baby, who will join our ever-expanding family in early June. Ahh, the anticipation!"

McGrath gushed in the comments section of his wife’s post: “Ahhh!! love you! You’re the cutest little .”

Batten confirmed her relationship with McGrath in July 2020, revealing that he had initially reached out to her on Instagram. However, due to her own personal struggles with the platform, she had entrusted the task of managing her account to a close friend. Reflecting on their connection, Batten described her relationship with McGrath as "truly incredible," and emphasized that their bond has only grown stronger since their initial encounter.

After being in a relationship for over a year, McGrath and the wellness influencer decided to take their commitment to the next level and got engaged in September 2021. They chose to have a private wedding the following summer, as Batten shared the news and posted pictures from their special day on Instagram with the caption "8.24.22 Mr. & Mrs."

Prior to becoming a mother herself, the reality TV alum openly discussed her role as a stepmother to McGrath's children and expressed her desire to further grow their blended family.

"We definitely plan on expanding our family," she revealed to We in an exclusive interview in December 2021. "I have frozen eggs, so we're hopeful that we can make that happen."

Batten rose to fame when she appeared on the first season of Love Is Blind, which premiered in February 2020. Although she became engaged to Mark Cuevas in the pods, she ultimately decided to leave him at the altar, causing a stir during the show's dramatic finale.

Following the conclusion of the show, the Healthy Crunch spokesperson revealed that they refrained from dating for an extended period of time due to the highly distressing nature of their experience. Their primary focus was to avoid attention and remain inconspicuous.

At the age of 27, Cuevas found love again with Aubrey Rainey, resulting in their engagement in November 2020. Their journey together continued with the birth of their two sons, Ace and Axton, in 2021 and 2022, respectively. The couple ultimately tied the knot in September 2022.

Cuevas had revealed Rainey's second pregnancy at the same time that news of Batten's engagement surfaced. "Whenever I have any news, it feels like he's always in the media with something even bigger," the Netflix star humorously shared with Us in December 2021. "I don't think he's intentionally trying to outdo me, it just seems to happen that way, and it's quite amusing."
