After months of struggling with allergies, Love Is Blind's Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi were finally able to bring their furry friends back home.

"The journey to bring these two fur babies home has been a rollercoaster. I've had allergies to cats, dogs, and horses since childhood, which really affected my breathing," Goytowski, 32, shared on Instagram on Wednesday, July 26. "Once Bliss and I got married, we knew we wanted to have these amazing creatures in our home, but my allergies were extremely severe. On the first night at Bliss's house, I had a severe allergy attack that left me struggling for air."

After visiting an allergist, Goytowski was diagnosed with "allergy-induced asthma." This condition posed a significant threat to his ability to breathe. As a result, Bliss was forced to make the heartbreaking decision of giving up her beloved pets to her mother and sister.

However, their love for their pets couldn't be extinguished. They were determined to find a solution that would allow them to bring their furry friends back home, thus completing their family. Their journey began with a colossal undertaking of undergoing almost a year of immunotherapy and receiving allergy shots twice a week. This process proved to be incredibly challenging, but their love pushed them to go beyond what they thought was possible. Although the possibility seemed unlikely, they had to try for Bliss's sake.

Goytowski concluded his post by excitedly revealing that he had discovered a solution for bringing the pets back home to him and Poureetezadi. He expressed how much happiness these two furry creatures bring to Bliss, and seeing her eyes light up with joy makes every difficult moment on this journey worthwhile.

In response, Poureetezadi left a heartfelt comment on the post, expressing her gratitude for the sacrifices Goytowski makes for their family. She professed their adoration for him and declared him to be the absolute best puppy/kitten dad ever! ️️️

The couple, who got married on the final episode of LiB season 4 in March, recently celebrated their one-year anniversary in May.

"On this day a year ago, when I said 'I do,' I was already amazed by Bliss. She encompassed everything I had ever hoped for in a wife," Goytowski wrote in an Instagram carousel dedicated to Poureetezadi. "But over the past year, I have discovered that she is even more extraordinary than I could have imagined. She always finds beauty and significance in the smallest things, like the content sigh of a happy puppy. She never gives up on her dreams, no matter how challenging they may be."

Poureetezadi also posted a picture of them on her Instagram Story, expressing, "Wishing the love of my life a happy anniversary! Our one year together has been the most incredible time of my life!"

Having met in the pods on the Netflix show, the duo immediately connected. However, Goytowski ultimately decided to propose to Irina Solomonova without seeing her. During the cast's trip to Mexico, the couple continued their relationship in person, and Goytowski soon realized that he was still in love with Poureetezadi.

"I admit that not choosing Bliss initially was a mistake, and in hindsight, I believe that was the true error," Goytowski exclusively confided in We in March. "When I ended things with Irina and was grappling with the aftermath, I was fully aware of the turmoil I was experiencing. As soon as it ended, my immediate instinct was to approach the producers and request to bring Bliss back, acknowledging that I had made the wrong choice. However, I understood that I had to accept and live with my decision."

Despite this, Poureetezadi ultimately forgave him, and the couple progressed to their wedding day, exchanging heartfelt vows in May 2022.
