JP Pierce has found new love in his life following his broken engagement to Taylor Rue, as revealed by Love Is Blind co-star Izzy Zapata. According to Izzy, JP is a genuinely amazing person with whom he had the opportunity to spend quality time. Izzy mentioned during his appearance on the "Viall Files" podcast on Thursday, October 5, that JP has been in a relationship with a woman for a year now, indicating that he must be doing something right. Izzy also noted that JP's difficulty in expressing his emotions may have been the reason for the previous relationship not working out.

JP, a 32-year-old contestant on Love Is Blind season 5, formed an immediate and strong connection with Taylor, who is 26 years old, while in the pods. They became engaged without ever seeing each other in person. However, their relationship faced challenges when they met face to face, with JP criticizing Taylor's choice to wear a full face of makeup and expressing disappointment that she didn't go for a more natural look. Izzy, another participant on the show, revealed that JP had previously expressed admiration for Taylor's natural beauty without makeup during their conversation in Mexico. Izzy believed that JP could have expressed his preferences in a kinder and more respectful manner.

Izzy persisted, stating that the person in question hails from a commendable background and possesses a compassionate nature. Nonetheless, Izzy believes that there is room for improvement in terms of how this individual conveys their thoughts and ideas, which seems to be a prevalent issue in season 5. According to Izzy, the overall delivery from all parties involved has been lackluster.

Taylor Rue and Jared Pierce's Netflix journey took a downturn when Taylor sensed a disconnect after their post-proposal reveal. However, it wasn't until their Mexico trip that she truly delved into the issue, triggered by Jared's remarks about her physical appearance.

“I was deeply hurt and completely bewildered," she exclusively shared with Us prior to the season 5 premiere. "I couldn't believe that our relationship was essentially ending because of my appearance. We had such a strong bond and I thought of him as my husband. We were engaged."

Taylor stressed that she would never let another person's opinion dictate the fate of a relationship. "I decided to leave because the JP I had fallen in love with seemed to have disappeared and that terrified me," she explained. "I was supposed to build a life with this person, but I felt like a stranger in Mexico. So, after much contemplation, I was torn between staying and going home."

JP has remained silent about their separation and his new romance in public, while Izzy shared her thoughts on his habit of exclusively wearing patriotic attire.

When asked about it, Izzy humorously commented, "Some of the guys actually questioned him. I can't recall a single time he wasn't wearing something with the American flag or the colors red, white, and blue. He's clearly a huge fan of America, always expressing his enthusiasm with a resounding 'America, f—k yeah!'".
