Avril Lavigne and Tyga have ended their relationship once again, after a short reconnection during the summer, according to our exclusive source. The breakup occurred some time ago, and it was not caused by any specific event, but rather because their relationship had naturally reached its conclusion.
According to an insider, there are no hard feelings between Avril Lavigne, 39, and Tyga, 33. The source mentioned that their breakup was amicable, but the lack of communication between them since then is due to their busy schedules.
Lavigne, known for her hit song "Complicated," was first linked to Tyga in February when they were seen having dinner together in Los Angeles. Initially, a source stated that they were simply friends with no romantic involvement. However, speculation arose when they were seen together at a party in Paris the following month.
Days later, Lavigne and Tyga announced their relationship while indulging in public displays affection at the Mugler X Hunter Schafer Party during Paris Fashion Week.
“It was beyond their imagination for Avril and Tyga to find themselves in a romantic relationship, catching them completely off guard,” revealed an exclusive source to Us in March. “Although uncertain about what the future holds, they are thoroughly enjoying their time together. Their connection is undeniable.”
After a four-month relationship, the couple experienced their first split, but according to a source in June, Tyga and Lavigne continued to maintain a positive relationship. The insider further disclosed that the musicians mutually agreed that friendship was a better fit for them than a romantic partnership.
Less than a month later, Lavigne and Tyga reconciled their relationship but opted for a more cautious approach. In July, a source exclusively disclosed to Us that "They split, started talking again and decided to give things another shot." The couple is taking it slow and maintaining a casual relationship for the time being. Prior to her brief romance with Tyga, Lavigne was engaged to Mod Sun for over two years. In February, it was confirmed by Us that Lavigne and the 36-year-old "Flames" singer had been estranged for several months before ultimately ending their relationship.
"They developed a deeper connection and discovered that it wasn't a successful match, so they discreetly ended their relationship," the insider revealed to Us regarding Lavigne and Sun.
On the other hand, Tyga has a son named King Cairo, who is 10 years old, from his previous relationship with Blac Chyna. After their separation in 2014, Tyga had an on-again-off-again relationship with Kylie Jenner from 2015 to 2017.
