Kevin Costner alleges that his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, charged expensive personal items, including legal fees, cash advances, and a car, onto his employees' credit cards without his awareness. Documents obtained by We on July 14 reveal that Costner claims Baumgartner charged additional attorney's fees onto the credit card of an employee traditionally used for Costner family expenses, and that she has been taking cash advances on multiple credit cards issued to staff members without his permission.

Furthermore, Costner asserts that while he and his former spouse had always opted for leased vehicles, Baumgartner recently purchased an expensive car for her personal use. The popular actor points to this acquisition, which occurred prior to their separation in April, as evidence that Baumgartner had been planning to end their marriage long before disclosing her intentions to Costner. It is worth noting that according to their prenuptial agreement, Baumgartner is entitled to retain her personal vehicle in the event of a divorce, as confirmed by Costner's legal representation.

Baumgartner officially filed for divorce from Costner in May, citing irreconcilable differences and stating April 11 as their date of separation. The couple has three children together: Cayden, aged 16, Hayes, aged 14, and Grace, aged 13.

After their breakup, Costner and Baumgartner became embroiled in a contentious legal dispute about Baumgartner's desire to stay in their home with their children. Baumgartner claimed in her legal filing that she lacked the financial means to relocate from their residence. Nevertheless, a judge ultimately ordered her to vacate the shared home by the end of July.

Initially, Baumgartner requested $248,000 per month in child support to maintain the children's accustomed lifestyle. However, Costner countered in court documents obtained by Us last month that he could not afford the specified amount due to his anticipated decrease in earnings in 2023 when Yellowstone concludes.

On Tuesday, July 11, a judge declared that Costner will be providing $129,755 per month in child support to Baumgartner. Additionally, he is required to pay $200,000 in attorneys' fees and $100,000 in forensic costs. Costner was not present in court during the ruling as he had already planned a trip to British Columbia with their children. Costner's lawyer addressed the shared custody agreement, stating that once Baumgartner finds a new residence, the teenagers can freely move between their homes.

Although the child support matter has been resolved, sources suggest that the situation may become increasingly contentious for the couple. According to an insider, Costner sees the situation as straightforward and believes that Baumgartner should adhere to the prenuptial agreement, which grants her 30 days to move out after filing for divorce. This could potentially lead to a bitter court battle as Costner is known for his strong convictions and stubborn nature.
