Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan has recently addressed the departure of Kevin Costner from the popular Paramount+ show. As fans anxiously await the conclusion of Yellowstone season 5, Sheridan has shared his thoughts on Costner's decision to leave the series. In an interview with THR, the creator expressed his hope that Costner accomplishes great success in directing his own ambitious four-part Western movie titled Horizon.
Kevin remains an exceptional actor in my eyes. His portrayal of John Dutton is not only symbolic but also incredibly powerful. Throughout our professional relationship, I have never encountered any significant issues with Kevin that we couldn't resolve through a simple phone conversation. However, when legal matters arise, communication between individuals becomes hindered, leading to the spread of false information and attempts to shift blame, all in response to the public or media's perception. Kevin has gracefully endured much of this undeserved criticism, and I genuinely believe that no one should have to go through such an ordeal. It is evident that his upcoming movie holds great importance to him, as he seeks to redirect the focus. I sincerely hope that the movie lives up to his expectations and proves to be a remarkable piece of work.
