Shawn Johnson and Andrew East Announce Baby No 3's Name: The Perfect Addition to Our Family
Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East joyfully announced the arrival of their adorable baby boy, marking the completion of their loving family Their third bundle of joy was born on December 12, bringing immense happiness to the couple
Shawn Johnson East and her husband Andrew East welcomed another son into their family. Johnson East, 31, shared a selfie video with the newborn on Sunday, December 17, writing, "Our sweet sweet Bear. He's eating and sleeping like a champ."
The Olympian wrote in a subsequent post: "You're amazing." Johnson East welcomed her son, Bear, on December 12 through a C-section. She and East, 32, announced the birth of their baby in their "FamilyMade" newsletter two days later.
“We're feeling incredibly blessed to welcome a third healthy baby into our family,” East wrote. “December holds a special significance for us, as my dad was born on December 9 and unexpectedly passed away on December 27 last year. The fact that our baby was born so close to my dad's birthday feels truly special, and I know he would be smiling down on us and feeling proud.”
Bear was born on the same day and in the same hospital as Bachelorette alum Shawn Booth's first baby, whom he shares with Audrey "Dre" Joseph.

"On 12/12, we welcomed our new baby! Our delivery room neighbors were none other than Johnson East and the former football player," Booth shared on Instagram Story. In the selfie, Booth and East can be seen together. The couple already have two children, daughter Drew, 4, and son Jett, 2, who are thrilled to be older siblings.
“Witnessing [Drew and Jett] meeting their newest sibling was the most heartwarming experience,” shared Johnson East in the newsletter. "They have been so tender with the baby, and I can tell they are relieved that the wait is finally over, especially Drew."
Since welcoming baby Bear home, Johnson East and East have adjusted to a new routine as parents of three.
“This man is everything to me. @andrewdeast we are just 5 days into our journey as a family of 5, and it’s amazing to see how you’ve taken on the role of managing the older kids. Our family finally feels whole. I love you more than words can say.”

Andrew East and his son Bear are pictured, courtesy of Shawn Johnson's Instagram. In July, Johnson East revealed her third pregnancy on the "Couple Things" podcast, mentioning that this would be her final pregnancy.
"I'm hesitant to have more biological children because of the toll it takes on my body," she confided in East. "But I'm open to the idea of adoption or exploring other options if we want to expand our family in the future."
