Kristin Cavallari couldn't have concocted this story even if she attempted! During her recent week-long stay in Los Angeles, the former reality star experienced an eventful first 72 hours, involving an enthralling encounter with scorching rugby players and an unexpected arrest.

"I experienced my second one-night stand ever," disclosed Cavallari, 36, on her "Let's Be Honest" podcast episode aired on Tuesday, October 24. "And before any of you feel inclined to pass judgment... I am nearly 37 years old, and this is only the second time it has occurred in my entire life."

The following day, Cavallari made the choice to meet an ex for coffee, though she does not mention the person by name. According to a source, she is referring to Jeff Dye, from whom she separated in March 2021 following a five-month relationship.

Dye arrived late for their scheduled date, and Cavallari mentioned that he admitted to still being somewhat intoxicated. At that moment, a police officer entered the coffee shop in search of Dye, who is 40 years old. The Burbank PD confirmed that he had been arrested and charged with fleeing the scene of a traffic collision and driving under the influence. It was reported that he had crashed into a tree and subsequently fled on foot. Cavallari recalled the incident on a podcast, stating that she asked the police officers for an explanation and was informed that there had been a hit and run incident in the vicinity, with Dye fitting the suspect's description.

Cavallari's weekend kicked off on a Friday evening as she joined a group of girlfriends for a night out. During dinner, the former Laguna Beach star impulsively decided to create a profile on the Raya dating app after coming across the "most attractive person I had ever seen" while browsing her friend's feed on the app. (Cavallari had to wait for a few days before getting approved by Raya. Eventually, she matched with the aforementioned individual and went on a date with him.)

Upon arriving at the bar on Friday, Cavallari, feeling adventurous, treated another guy to a shot, thinking, "Why not take a chance?" However, when the outcome didn't meet her expectations, she took one of her friends to the dancefloor, where they unexpectedly found themselves surrounded by the Australian rugby team.

After spending time with the athletes, Cavallari and her friend joined the team at a different bar. Effortlessly, she formed a connection — and shared a passionate moment — with a team member, whom she referred to as Kyle for privacy reasons.

At first, Cavallari hadn't intended to go home with "Kyle," but as the night progressed, she eventually extended an invitation to her place at 3 a.m. Swiftly, Cavallari stood up against critics, asserting that she is fully embracing her "fun single" phase.

The absence of sexual experiences in my life for the past three and a half years is extremely disheartening. So, you know what, I ended up having a casual encounter for a night. Go ahead and criticize me if you want, but it was an enjoyable experience.

On Saturday, Cavallari chose not to spend time with someone named "Kyle." However, he persistently kept texting her and began expressing intense interest.

While she was handling that, Cavallari decided to rendezvous with Dye. Unsurprisingly, that planned coffee meeting took a different turn due to his detainment.

Cavallari joked about not knowing the complete story for a while, expressing her frustration with that being her Sunday morning. In the midst of the ex drama, an Australian named "Kyle" persistently texted and called Cavallari, which she found to be overwhelming. As a result, she decided to end the communication with him. Interestingly, "Kyle" didn't respect her boundaries and continues to send her texts without stopping.

After it appeared that the wild weekend had concluded, Cavallari awoke on Monday morning to a voice note from Dye informing her that he had recently been released from custody. Naturally, she inquired for further details.

According to Cavallari's reenactment, comedian Jeff Dye stated that he crashed into a pole, exceeded the legal alcohol limit, and now has a scheduled court appearance. Despite his car being completely damaged, Dye surprisingly insisted on meeting up for coffee once again.

"The level of disconnect is truly astounding," she remarked. "Furthermore, it was revealed in the police report that he didn't collide with a pole, but rather, he collided with a tree. The entire situation is just overwhelming, like, oh my God."

Cavallari's close friend and renowned celebrity hairstylist Justin Anderson accompanied her on the podcast on Tuesday, providing his perspective on the recent events.

He remarked, "It's unbelievable how everything unfolded in such a short time. The sheer number of events that occurred within 24 hours while you were in L.A. had me questioning what was happening."

There was no prompt response from Dye's team to We's comment request.
