"In December 2019, Cavallari emphasized that she doesn't simply allow her kids to do as they please. She explained that she prefers to let kids be kids and make a mess, while Jay tends to try to prevent the mess from occurring. They both have their own boundaries and rules in place."

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler have nothing but love for their trio despite parting ways romantically in 2020.
The previous pair got married in June 2013 and later had their first child, Camden, in the following year. They then welcomed Jaxon and Saylor in 2014 and 2015. In April 2020, Cavallari and Cutler announced their decision to end their 10-year relationship.
Before their separation, the Hills alum revealed exclusively to We that Cutler will always be the more strict parent. "I don't just allow them to do as they please," Cavallari stated in December 2019. "But I lean more towards letting kids be kids and make a mess, while Jay sometimes tries to stop the mess from happening in the first place. ... We both have boundaries and rules, of course."
