Sarah Ferguson had a great time celebrating Easter with the royal family.

She posted a photo on Instagram from a spring-themed photo shoot on Sunday, March 31, captioned with, "Happy Easter! Let’s share light and laughter and color this Easter. What traditions will everyone be celebrating today?"

Ferguson looked lovely in a green dress as she sat at a picnic table surrounded by flowers, fruits, books, and cute stuffed animals in the photo. Earlier that morning, she wore the same color to the royal family's Easter church service. Her green tweed dress was accessorized with black items like a bejeweled headband, gloves, tights, and heels.

At the service, attended by King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, and other royals, Ferguson was seen with her ex-husband, Prince Andrew. He wore a black morning suit and a pale green tie for the service, which took place at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. The couple, who were married from 1986 to 1996, have two daughters together, Princess Beatrice, 35, and Princess Eugenie, 34.

The Easter celebration was a significant moment for the royal family. It marked one of the few times that Charles, 75, appeared in public since being diagnosed with cancer in February. He resumed his royal duties last month and has been hosting several events at Buckingham Palace.

Another member of the royal family facing cancer is Ferguson. She had been diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2023 and recently shared that she is now battling skin cancer. The author of A Most Intriguing Lady made this revelation in January.

Ferguson's spokesperson shared that during her reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy, her dermatologist recommended removing and analyzing several moles. Unfortunately, one of the moles turned out to be cancerous. Despite this, Ferguson was seen smiling as she left a London hospital shortly after the news of her skin cancer diagnosis.

In contrast, Princess Kate Middleton has kept a low profile since her abdominal surgery in January. Recently, the 42-year-old Princess of Wales disclosed that she was diagnosed with cancer by doctors after the surgery.

She revealed in a video on March 22 that her medical team recommended undergoing preventative chemotherapy. This has led to her starting the treatment in the early stages. This announcement came after online speculation about her health and whereabouts.

Buckingham Palace had previously stated that Prince William would continue to take over public events for Kate until she is given the green light to return to work. During her recovery and treatment, Kate, William, and their three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis - chose to stay home for a quiet Easter holiday instead of attending the church service.

Last month, Ferguson showed her support for Kate on Instagram, expressing, "My thoughts and prayers are with the Princess of Wales as she begins treatment. She will have the love of her family and the prayers of many for a positive outcome."

Reflecting on her own cancer journey, Ferguson shared, "Having faced my own battles with cancer recently, I greatly admire how openly she has discussed her diagnosis. It will surely help raise awareness. I hope she is now able to focus on healing with the time, space, and privacy she needs."
