Sanguinatrix Enhancement Guide: Unleash the Power in Lords of the Fallen!

Upgrade the Sanguinatrix in Lords of the Fallen for enhanced healing charges and maximize your gameplay

The Sanguinatrix serves as the lamp bearer's ultimate companion in Lords of the Fallen, serving as the game's primary means of healing that players will heavily rely on as they continue their journey.

While the Sanguinatrix is undeniably valuable, its initial form alone won't suffice to sustain players in the later phases of Lords of the Fallen. Enhancing this sacred artifact should be a top priority for all players, necessitating a thorough exploration of every corner and crevice within Axiom.

Lords of the Fallen: How to Get More Healing Charges

To enable the Sanguinatrix to heal more frequently during Vestige rest, players must offer Saintly Quintessences to Pieta at Skyrest Bridge. However, defeating Pieta in battle is a prerequisite before initiating this process. Considering Pieta as the initial formidable boss in Lords of the Fallen, players may find her challenging at first encounter. Nonetheless, by maintaining patience and effectively utilizing dodges and parries, they can successfully overcome her.

Pieta, once her hostility subsides, will assist players in enhancing their Sanguinatrix. She has the ability to augment the healing charges and improve their effectiveness, thereby maximizing the efficiency of the Sanguinatrix. Pieta offers this service without charge, but navigating this game is never truly effortless.

Finding Saintly Quintessences is a challenge in itself, as they are both rare and often concealed. Although the first one is readily available to players during the tutorial phase, the remaining ones can easily go unnoticed. These elusive Quintessences are mostly located within the Umbral Realm, making them even more difficult to spot unless players actively inspect their surroundings with a lamp.

Completing the game without upgrading the Sanguinatrix is achievable, although it is typically reserved for players seeking a challenge. Having more healing charges is always beneficial, and the fact that Saintly Quintessences also enhance the healing capabilities of the Sanguinatrix adds a pleasant variation to the standard Soulslike formula, where healing charge and efficiency are upgraded separately using two different items.

In the event that players exhaust all their Sanguinatrix charges, there are alternative methods to restore HP. Certain Radiance spells have the ability to heal significant amounts of health, and players can also consume Briostones, which gradually replenish HP over time. These Briostones can be purchased from Stomund and Gerlinde, and there is also a chance for them to drop from specific enemies.

Lords of the Fallen is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
