A creative fan of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has devised an ingenious way for players to soar through the skies of Hyrule - an air bike. Unlike other flying contraptions made by fans of the game, this particular model requires just three Zonai devices to construct. In the absence of loftwings - the beloved winged creatures from Skyward Sword - players have turned to using the Zonai devices found throughout the game to build their own flying machines. While some of these creations require ten or more devices, this air bike is made from just three of the most common Zonai devices available.
A recent video by YouTuber 2uncle2dane provides a quick tutorial on constructing an air bike using a steering stick and two fans. The video highlights the advantages of this design over the conventional glider build, showcasing its superior maneuverability. Turning the vehicle requires only slight adjustments, unlike the larger glider which can be challenging to maneuver. The air bike can be built from scratch using only nine Zonaite pieces, but it's recommended to use one's own Zonai devices to save on costs. In the video, 2uncle2dane explains why this design is ideal for transporting Koroks and exploring the depths of Hyrule. However, constructing the air bike can be tricky, as shown in the video. The key is to lay the first fan on a flat surface, position the steering stick at a slight angle, and attach the second fan in a straight line with the first.
Once the air bike is constructed for the first time, players with the Autobuild ability can save their design to favorites and effortlessly recreate it anytime with the right parts. The air bike is especially handy for navigating through the abyss in Tears of the Kingdom. By attaching a brightbloom seed to the front, the bike becomes a reliable mode of transportation in the darkest depths of the underground.
