Jessel Taank and Pavit Randhawa’s marriage was a major focus on season 14 of The Real Housewives of New York City, and the couple recently demonstrated that they understand each other better than their fellow cast members believe.
Jessel and her husband participated in "The Not-So-Newly Married Game" with We and aced nearly every question, at least in essence. Although they gave different restaurant names when asked about their first date, they both knew it was at a sushi joint.
Pavit defended the duo’s slightly mixed up response, "It was a while ago," while Jessel added, "It was a long time ago! Seventeen years now."
When asked to name the most romantic thing Pavit has ever done for Jessel, the couple agreed it was the time they slipped away for a getaway to Santorini, Greece.

"Early on in our relationship," Jessel reminisced, "This guy – the wingman, the points guy, whatever you want to call him – somehow scored a first-class trip to Greece. We had just started dating. It was like Virgin Airlines, upper class."
Jessel initially thought Pavit might propose during the trip, but he quickly dismissed this possibility. "I had no intention of proposing on that trip," he stated, while Jessel chimed in, "He just wanted a free vacation."
The couple couldn't quite agree on who said "I love you" first, but Pavit was certain that his wife's favorite reality TV show is the U.K. edition of Love Island.
"It's such trash TV," Pavit quipped. "It's just awful."
RHONY fans witnessed Pavit and Jessel happily agreeing to let Pavit take a solo trip to Vietnam for bánh mì. However, there may be trouble brewing in their relationship over a contentious item in Pavit's closet. When asked to name the one item in her husband’s wardrobe she’d like to get rid of, Jessel didn't hesitate to point out his yellow UCLA T-shirt "with holes" in it.

Pavit insisted, "I'm keeping my yellow UCLA T-shirt. It's super comfortable and really well-made."
But Jessel disagreed, commenting, "It's gross. It looks like it's been attacked by moths."
Earlier this year, Jessel shared with Us that she and Pavit "lead a very spontaneous lifestyle" together — which may be one reason they can jokingly tease each other about their hole-y T-shirts.

In October, she explained, "We are a married couple, but we each have our own interests and passions. I will always support him and never hold him back from doing the things he loves. I believe that controlling or stifling someone's character and interests leads to friction in relationships. Similarly, if I want to go on a girls trip, he might give me trouble for a few minutes, but ultimately, I will do what I want."
