Teresa Giudice and her husband Luis "Louie" Ruelas have put their past issues with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his family behind them. Teresa, 51, revealed at BravoCon on Friday, November 3, that she no longer wants to discuss or comment on the matter as it has been a long time since it occurred. She expressed that she has moved on and is no longer affected by it.
Louie, aged 48, agreed with his wife, nodding in affirmation. Teresa, aged 44, and Melissa had a turbulent relationship for a long time. However, tensions escalated when the Gorgas chose not to attend Teresa's and Louie's wedding in August 2022. Joe, aged 43, and Melissa had suspected Teresa, Joe's elder sister, of spreading rumors about Melissa's infidelity. (Joe and Melissa have consistently refuted the allegations of cheating.)
Melissa was also disappointed that Teresa did not invite her to be a bridesmaid during the ceremony. "Since the beginning of all the wedding chaos, I was informed on national TV that I wouldn't be a part of it," Melissa shared with Us in October 2022. "I was told that we aren't close. I was told all these things. So when someone sets a boundary, I have to abide by it. And then it's unfair to be upset when we end up on the other side of that line because you drew it."
During season 13 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, tensions escalated as Teresa made a shocking claim, accusing the Gorgas of being responsible for her incarceration after she and her ex-husband Joe Giudice were sentenced to jail in 2015 for multiple fraud charges.
Despite all of them returning for season 14 of RHONJ, Teresa and the Gorgas have completely stopped communicating. When asked about filming without interacting with the Gorgas, Teresa teasingly remarked, "I wouldn't say easier." She urged viewers to watch the season to see how things unfold, expressing hope for another season in the future.

Teresa has reconciled with Joe and Melissa, but she has the support of her husband Louie.
During the Las Vegas convention, Teresa expressed her excitement about being newlyweds. She emphasized the importance of consistently making each other happy and not taking one another for granted.
Louie, for his part, told Us that he loves having a “cool partner.”
