Kara Keough and her husband Kyle Bosworth have recently welcomed their fourth child, a baby girl named Stetson. This joyful arrival comes three years after the heart-wrenching loss of their son McCoy. On November 1, 2023, at 5:43pm, the couple received the amazing news that they now had a daughter. Keough shared the announcement on Instagram, expressing the excitement in the room. Stetson arrived three weeks earlier than expected, just like her big brother Vaughn. She weighed a healthy 8lbs 5oz and had a beautiful full head of dark hair. Keough also shared a heartwarming slideshow of photos from her delivery, including a precious moment captured of their 7-year-old daughter, Decker, cradling her newborn sister in her arms. Another photo showcased Vaughn, who proudly wore a "Big Bro" shirt.

Keough expressed her joy at the arrival of their newest baby, referring to McCoy's adorable chubby cheeks. The baby quickly captured their hearts and has been making her presence known with her continuous babbling. Keough proudly shared a nickname given to her by @kyleboz: 'Squeaks'. The special moment was made even more precious as Keough held hands with Decker, who acted as both a doula and a birth photographer in training. Bringing her long-awaited wish to life, Keough couldn't be happier to welcome her baby sister. She mentioned that many people prayed fervently for a safe arrival, and their prayers were answered. Overflowing with gratitude, Keough expressed her deep appreciation for finally being able to bring their baby home. She ended by saying that she will be thanking God and cherishing every moment with Stetson Lou Bosworth.

The couple, who got married in 2014, made the happy announcement of Kara's pregnancy in July. In her Instagram post, she shared a touching tribute to McCoy, their son who sadly passed away six days after being born in April 2020 because of shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord.

In the aftermath of McCoy's death, I found solace in sharing my sorrow with all of you. Expressing my grief openly allowed me to acknowledge and confront my emotions. It was like shining a light on a monster hiding under the bed - they became less intimidating in the daylight. I made a conscious decision not to bury any of my pain; instead, I embraced it fully. However, when I discovered that I was pregnant with Vaughn, I chose to keep my emotions to myself.

Kara and Bosworth welcomed Vaughn in March 2021, but the experience was far from being a joyful one. It was an arduous and cruel realization that they were at risk of another heart-wrenching disaster. Kara desired to keep their happiness to themselves, in secret.

In announcing the arrival of baby No. 4, Kara confessed that she took inspiration from Decker. She observed how joy overflowed out of Decker, but for herself, there was a hesitant reluctance to fully embrace the excitement. However, she couldn't deny that it felt right for those who had shared their grief to also be present in their joyous moments. Kara admitted feeling both proud and immensely terrified to disclose her pregnancy news.

As she and her husband mourned the loss of McCoy, they offered a glimpse into their journey of moving forward. Earlier this year, Kara commemorated the three-year anniversary of her heartbreaking loss.

"It was the most difficult day of our lives. I despise the 12th of April. Despise it, despise it, despise it. Despise that babies can die. Despise it all," she wrote as the caption for an Instagram video. "But I am willing to bear April 12th if it means I get to always cherish April 11th, 10th, 9th, 8th, 7th, and 6th – the days we spent with you. And the preceding nine months. I would never trade the pain of losing you, as it is inseparable from the joy of loving you. Thank you, God, for every moment we had with McCoy."

Kara’s brother, Shane Keough, honored McCoy by naming his newborn after him. Shane took to Instagram on October 15 to share his excitement about the arrival of McKay Lourdes Keough, weighing 6 lbs. 5 oz. Shane expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to experience this joy after so much tragedy and looked forward to a lifetime of love and happiness with his baby girl.
