Jennifer Pedranti and her boyfriend, Ryan Boyajian, have faced rumors of infidelity throughout her first season on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Jennifer, 46, shared in an interview with We on July 27 that they have had numerous conversations about the speculation and it has consumed a significant amount of their thoughts. She expressed gratitude for Ryan's ability to handle the situation and keep her grounded. Despite the well-known "Housewives curse," they feel confident that their relationship will not be affected.
Jennifer's relationship with Ryan, a 46-year-old man, caused a stir among her fellow cast members when she joined the cast in season 17 of RHOC. Leading the charge, Tamra Judge and the other RHOC stars criticized the couple for supposedly getting together before Jennifer's split from her ex-husband, William Pedranti, in 2021. In fact, during an episode of the Bravo hit on July 5, Tamra even referred to Ryan as the "town whore" and accused him of being unfaithful.
Tamra went on to claim during an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on July 26 that Jennifer and Ryan had used the scandal to increase their chances of being cast on RHOC. According to Tamra, Jennifer learned about Ryan's infidelity while going through the casting process and chose to stay with him out of fear that she wouldn't be selected for the show. Tamra revealed that she had numerous conversations with Jennifer regarding this difficult situation.
Jennifer refuted the allegations when she spoke to Us, expressing disbelief and stating that she would not stay in a cheating relationship just out of concern for her professional opportunities. With five children shared between her and William, 51, she clarified, "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but no. And also, during that period, I often wondered, does Tamra forget? Does she recall the conversations we had when the events were unfolding?"
Jennifer alleged that she and Tamra had a regular practice of keeping in touch while awaiting word from producers regarding their potential inclusion in the cast of season 17. Interestingly, during this period, Tamra's spouse, Eddie Judge, would frequently spend time with Ryan. "It was as if Eddie and Ryan were close pals, completely contrary to the insinuations made," Jennifer stated. "So, I am truly baffled as to where this notion arises from."
Jennifer speculated that her friend, Tamra, deliberately kept quiet about Ryan's suspected unfaithfulness prior to appearing on RHOC.
"We spent plenty of days and hours together in the gym. Tamra really committed and trained with me and my trainer for a considerable period of three years. It's not a short time at all," she stated on Thursday. "It's not as if Tamra and I had only spent two months in the gym before filming started. We had years where these conversations could have taken place."
Jennifer's co-star Emily Simpson, on her end, told Us earlier this week that she believed Ryan was a glaring warning sign, considering all the drama.
"It's completely unfair to Ryan," Jennifer argued, dismissing Emily's accusations based on his previous relationships. "I have never felt more loved or prioritized in my entire life, and he is an exceptional partner. It's truly unfortunate that they choose to dwell on the past, using it as their sole basis for judging him."
Her plea continued, "Please, just leave us alone. If things were to go wrong and our relationship were to crumble, I will accept responsibility for my actions towards Ryan. But I am not accountable to Emily, Tamra, or Gina Kirschenheiter. Allow me to live my life. I am genuinely happy. Can't I just be allowed to embrace that happiness?"
While Jennifer's friendships with her fellow Housewives are strained due to her romance, her relationship with Ryan is thriving.
"I have never doubted Ryan's trustworthiness. I have never personally experienced any trust issues with Ryan. I am aware of his past, which happened more than 5 years ago, because he has shared everything with me. He is completely transparent with me about everything. I have complete trust in Ryan, and I have never had any reason to worry about him. Our relationship is solid and I have no concerns about it."
