Set in the near future, specifically the late 2020s to early 2030s, the series unfolds in a world where autonomous electric vehicles dominate the roads. Despite this prevailing trend, MFG, an organization founded by Ryosuke, remains steadfast in upholding the exhilaration of street racing using traditional internal combustion engines.
Amidst this backdrop, Kanata Katagiri, a 19-year-old of Japanese-British descent, emerges as a promising newcomer onto the racing scene with his Toyota 86. His extraordinary skills captivate everyone, but unbeknownst to them, his sole motivation behind his racing pursuit is to uncover the truth about his long-lost father. As the first episode of MF Ghost unveils, viewers will be introduced to Kanata and acquaint themselves with the thrilling world of street racing.
This winter, there are several thrilling anime series to look forward to, apart from MF Ghost. With each passing day, new episodes of Spy x Family season 2, The Eminence in Shadow season 2, Shangri-La Frontier, and other captivating shows will be available for you to enjoy.
