The official YouTube channel of the MF Ghost anime released its fifth promotional video on Tuesday, September 26. The video also announced that the anime will be aired on Sunday, October 1, 2023, on Tokyo MX, BS11, and RKB Mainichi Broadcasting channel. Additionally, Crunchyroll will offer worldwide streaming of the anime.
MF Ghost is a Japanese manga series by Shuichi Shigeno, serving as a sequel to the highly acclaimed Initial D series. Despite the mangaka's poor health leading to several hiatuses, the manga began its serialization in September 2017 and remains ongoing, with an anime adaptation in progress.
MF Ghost anime announces release date with new PV
The fifth promotional video for the MF Ghost anime series has been released on the official YouTube channel. The video features the voice of Shinichiro Miki, who previously voiced the lead character in Initial D. The anime is set to premiere on October 1, 2023, during the Fall 2023 anime season on various Japanese television networks, including Tokyo MX, BS11, and RKB Mainichi Broadcasting channel. It will also be available to watch on TV Aichi, Animax, YTV, Shizuoka Broadcasting System, TV Setouchi, and Tochigi TV. Additionally, fans can stream MF Ghost anime on Crunchyroll simultaneously with its airing in Japan.

The promotional video itself revealed the cast members for four characters:
Kanata Katagiri, also known as Kanata Livington, will be voiced by Yūma Uchida. Uchida has previously lent his voice to Momoharu Hanazono in Ahiru no Sora and Reo Mikage in Blue Lock. Ayane Sakura will be voicing Ren Saionji. Sakura has previously voiced characters such as Secre Swallowtail in Black Clover and Ochaco Uraraka in My Hero Academia.
Additionally, Daisuke Ono and Tasuku Hatanaka will be providing the voices for Shun Aiba and Ogata. Ono is known for his roles as Erwin Smith in Attack on Titan and Shintarō Midorima in Kuroko's Basketball. Hatanaka, on the other hand, has previously voiced Denki Kaminari in My Hero Academia and Hakkai Shiba in Tokyo Revengers.
