Kim Kardashian and her children had a fun moment where they lip-synched to Taylor Swift's songs before the singer's "thanK you aiMEE" response.

In January 2023, Kardashian, 43, and her eldest daughter North, 10, shared a video on their TikTok account called "Kim and North." They were seen dancing around their home to Swift's song "Shake It Off." (The track, released in 2014, is about staying positive and not letting negativity affect you.)

Swift may have referenced this moment in her song "thanK you aiMee," released by The Tortured Poets Department on Friday, April 19. In the bridge, she sings, "And maybe you’ve reframed it / And in your mind, you never beat my spirit black and blue. I don’t think you’ve changed much / And so I changed your name, and any real defining clues."

Swift then shares, "And then, one day, your child comes home singing a song that only the two of us will know is about you."

In the song, Swift calls out a high school bully that she seems to compare to Kardashian, as the track title spells out Kim in capital letters.

Swift and Kardashian have a long-standing feud. Kardashian, who has four children with ex-husband Kanye West, including North, has been at odds with Swift for years. In 2009, West famously interrupted Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV VMAs to say Beyoncé deserved the award. He later referenced Swift in his song "Famous," causing controversy with the lyrics.

West claimed that Swift had given him permission to use the lyrics, but Swift denied this. Kardashian, who was married to West at the time, released a phone conversation between Swift and West discussing the song. However, it was later revealed that the conversation had been edited.

In 2020, Swift took to Instagram Story to address the illegally recorded and manipulated video that caused distress to her, her family, and fans for 4 years.

Kardashian initially accused Swift of lying about the events, but later changed her opinion and praised Swift for her musical talents.

During a podcast with "Honestly With Bari Weiss" in December 2021, the Skims mogul shared, "I really like many of her songs. They're all really adorable and easy to get stuck in your head. I would need to check my phone to remember a specific one."

Three years later, another family member showed their love for Taylor Swift. Kim's niece Penelope, who is 11 years old and the daughter of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, was seen wearing merchandise from Swift's Eras Tour in a video posted on social media in February. It is uncertain whether she went to one of the singer's concerts.
