During an appearance on SiriusXM's "The Jess Cagle Show," the 40-year-old actress mentioned that she found some enjoyment in the attention of the incident. I value our professional relationship, but my personal story is mine alone. If you're a good person, there's no need to fret."

During her first appearance on the “Reign With Josh Smith” podcast to talk about Dune: Part Two, Ferguson criticized a former colleague without mentioning their name.

She described the person as an "absolute idiot" and shared that they were insecure and angry because they were having difficulty with their scenes.

Feeling vulnerable and uncomfortable, Ferguson recalled being yelled at by this individual during their time working together.

Ferguson stood up for herself by telling someone to leave the set the next day. She felt scared but was brave enough to confront the person and tell them to go away. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who acted alongside Ferguson in the movie Hercules in 2014, supported Ferguson publicly after she shared her story.
