Pokemon fan designs a Future Paradox version of Mantine, offering a glimpse into what it could look like in future Pokemon games.
Paradox Pokemon, both ancient and futuristic iterations, have ignited the imaginations of fans who take pleasure in creating their own versions. One such fan-designed Paradox Mantine, known as Iron Turbine, is a remarkable Ghost/Flying-type Pokemon that possesses exceptional speed and the unique power to manipulate a miniature drone.
A Pokemon enthusiast has created a unique concept for a futuristic version of the Generation 2 Water-type Pokemon Mantine, known as the Future Paradox form. Mantine was last seen in the 2022 game Pokemon Legends Arceus, and this Paradox form provides a sneak peek at how it might appear if reintroduced in the upcoming Generation 9 Pokemon games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Paradox Pokemon were initially introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as both ancient and futuristic variations of existing Pokemon. Their mysterious nature captivated numerous Pokemon researchers in the Paldea region, while occult magazines circulated rumors and speculations about these Paradox Pokemon. Following their encounter with Paradox Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, fans of the game began to brainstorm their own imaginative Paradox forms that they would love to see. Even now, nearly a year after the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, fans continue to create new Paradox forms, such as the Ancient and Future Paradox Ditto.
Pokemon enthusiast OzoneFruit has created an impressive design for Future Paradox Mantine, drawing inspiration from the popular fan-made Future Paradox Honedge design. In contrast to the typical Water/Flying-type Mantine, OzoneFruit's Paradox Mantine is a Ghost/Flying-type Pokemon. This alternative version, dubbed Iron Turbine, showcases a sleek metallic body and possesses the ability to soar through the skies at lightning-fast speeds, much like a fighter jet. OzoneFruit's concept description explains that Iron Turbine achieves these incredible velocities by inhaling vast amounts of air for propulsion.
During flight, the Paradox Pokemon leaves behind a luminous exhaust trail that bears a resemblance to a tail. Additionally, the design incorporates a tiny surveillance drone, which Iron Turbine controls using its antenna. When not engaged in reconnaissance or combat, Iron Turbine conveniently stores these miniature drones beneath its metallic wings.
OzoneFruit did not provide detailed information on Iron Turbine's fighting abilities. However, Mantine could serve as a powerful ally due to its effectiveness against various types of Pokemon. As a Ghost/Flying-type, Mantine has an advantage over Grass, Bug, Fighting, and Psychic-type Pokemon. Additionally, Iron Turbine's speed and agility make it a formidable opponent for Flying-type Pokemon like Rayquaza.
Unfortunately, Mantine is not currently available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. However, players can expect to encounter Mantine in The Indigo Disk DLC or future Generation 10 Pokemon games. In the meantime, Mantine can be found in Pokemon Legends Arceus for Nintendo Switch and the popular Pokemon GO mobile game.
