How to Start Village Attacked by PiratesSpeak to Rozel
Return to Lookout Landing in Hyrule, a vast realm in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which offers an expansive open-world experience akin to Breath of the Wild. While players can certainly direct their attention solely towards the main narrative, they would be depriving themselves of the numerous immersive and captivating optional quests and activities.
How to Start Village Attacked by Pirates
Besides the Shrines, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers players an abundance of side quests to embark on. These quests range from investigating potential sightings of Princess Zelda to providing aid to villages that are being attacked. One such quest is the Village Attacked by Pirates.
To begin this side quest, head to Lookout Landing. Once there, locate two NPCs engaged in conversation near the General Store. Approach the NPC positioned on the right side and listen to their account of a recent pirate attack on their village. While players can ask for more information if desired, initiating a conversation with these two NPCs is sufficient to kickstart the side quest.
Speak to Rozel
Begin the quest by heading in the southeast direction. Keep track of this side quest, as it will be marked by a yellow circle on the map. Lurelin Village is located at the southeastern edge of Hyrule, so if players have not unlocked any fast travel points in that region, they will have a long journey ahead of them. It is advisable to have decent gear, as well as a good amount of health and stamina.
Navigate to the designated location on the map to find Rozel, who can be found near the Sifumim Shrine. Rozel gazes sadly at the village, which has been completely devastated by monsters.
Go Back to Lookout Landing
After speaking with Rozel, the quest will be updated. Return to Lookout Landing and speak with the two NPCs who initiated this side quest. They are grateful to hear that all their fellow villagers have safely escaped Lurelin Village. As a reward, they offer players a Mighty Salt-Grilled Crab for the information. Although the side quest is now completed, players may consider returning to Lurelin Village to resolve the situation and allow the villagers to return and rebuild.
If players choose to follow through and clear out the village, they should come prepared. There are multiple groups of enemies scattered throughout the ruins of Lurelin Village. Players can find plenty of resources to use for weapon fusion. During battles with the monsters in Lurelin Village, a health bar will appear. Players will know they have finished their task when the health bar is fully depleted. It is important to note that there is one enemy hiding in the well, so it is necessary to go down there and confront it. Upon defeating the final monster, players will automatically be transported back to Rozel.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now on the Nintendo Switch.
