The two met on the set of Honey Boy earlier that year. However, after being together for nine months, LaBeouf and FKA Twigs decided to end their relationship in June 2019. Fast forward to December 2020, the Grammy nominee accused her Honey Boy co-star of "relentless abuse" during their yearlong relationship. The allegations included sexual battery, assault, and emotional distress.
