Patrick Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce enjoy a playful relationship.

During a conversation about the team's new wide receiver, Hollywood Brown, Mahomes, 28, jokingly teased Kelce, 34, for being one of the oldest players on the roster.

Mahomes expressed his admiration for Hollywood's drive to win during the 101 Awards in Missouri. He noted that Hollywood's eagerness to be a part of something special and great is evident. Mahomes emphasized the team's goal of building on their success and maintaining a winning mentality. He playfully mentioned the importance of having a hungry and motivated team to sustain their momentum.

Kelce, who turns 35 in October, is among the older players on the Chiefs team. But he's not the only one in his 30s. Long snapper James Winchester, offensive lineman Joe Thuney, defensive back Deon Bush, and defensive tackle Mike Pennel are also in that age group.

Mahomes and Kelce have been teammates since 2017 and recently celebrated winning their third Super Bowl together. They first won in 2019 against the San Francisco 49ers, then in 2023 against the Philadelphia Eagles, and most recently this year, they became champions by defeating the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.

Mahomes and Travis have been going to Noble 33 restaurants in different cities often, so they decided to bring something special to Kansas City. In a press release about their food venture, Mahomes mentioned, "It only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City." Kelce also expressed his excitement, saying, "We’re thrilled to be part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a unique dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City."
