Donna Kelce, the 71-year-old mother of Travis Kelce, is gaining recognition that rivals that of her sons. During her trip to Frankfurt, Germany on Thursday, November 2nd, to watch Travis' Kansas City Chiefs' game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, November 5th, Donna received an unexpected and overwhelming welcome. As she boarded the plane, she was greeted with a resounding applause, establishing her as America's beloved football mom.

In a video shared on X (previously known as Twitter), mama Kelce was spotted wearing a denim jacket adorned with Travis' jersey number 87 as she made her way to her seat. The accompanying post mentioned that Mama Kelce was on a flight to Germany with the writer's friends, and she received a warm reception from fellow passengers.

Although Travis, 34, would probably have the means to provide his mother with a first-class seat — considering his lucrative 4-year, $57 million contract with Kansas City, as reported by Fox Sports — Donna was photographed heading towards an economy class seat.

Donna, the mother of Philadelphia Eagles all-star center Jason Kelce, is juggling the role of an NFL mom. With Jason earning a staggering $14 million annually, as reported by USA Today, she has an additional task of promoting a brand. Recently, Donna launched a contest where lucky winners get the opportunity to join her in a VIP suite during the game between her two sons in Kansas City on Monday, November 20th.

The upcoming game will be a rematch of this year's Super Bowl LVII, which took place in February and was won by the Chiefs with a score of 38-35. Donna recently announced through an Instagram video that she has teamed up with Barefoot Wine to introduce the Barefoot Bandwagon Box. This unique opportunity will allow one fortunate contest winner and three of their close friends to join Donna in experiencing the thrill of football, indulging in wine, and gaining insights about both during the exciting Philadelphia vs. Kansas City game.

To enter the contest, fans are encouraged to visit Barefoot's Instagram and Facebook pages and share a comment expressing their desire to attend the game and meet Donna.

Despite the Kelce family's longstanding fame in the sports industry, they gained even more attention in September when Travis ignited rumors of a romantic relationship with Taylor Swift. During that same month, the 33-year-old singer joined Donna at her first Chiefs game, capturing the spotlight as cameras captured their bond. Since then, the duo has been spotted together, cheering Travis on at three more Chiefs games.

Donna, before her recent trip to Germany, expressed to Fox Digital her belief that the NFL is pleased with Swift's ability to attract a larger television viewership.

"I believe they would be delighted to gain new viewers," she stated. "I mean, who wouldn't be? Football is inherently accessible and enjoyable, not to mention thrilling. Moreover, it's one of those activities that anyone can casually engage in without being an expert."

She added, "Hence, I perceive it as a positive development for the NFL to attract fresh viewership, and I'm confident that they're absolutely pleased with it, without any concerns."

If statistics are any indication, Travis also relishes having Swift in the stands.

In an October episode of their "New Heights" podcast, Jason brought to Travis' attention that CBS Sports had reported a significant improvement in his stats whenever Swift is present. "When T-Swift is at the game, your average is 99 yards. But when you're left with just your friends and the remaining family, it drops to 46.5 yards per game," he playfully teased his brother.

Donna informed Fox Digital that despite critics' concerns that the increased off-the-field attention would negatively impact her son's performance, she is pleased that he has proven them wrong.

"Some individuals expressed doubts about his ability to handle the season and his football skills," Donna clarified. "However, it turns out that he thrives when faced with pressure or challenges, consistently raising the bar."
