Taylor Swift snubbed Fox's request to play her music at Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears, leaving fans disappointed

Taylor Swift needs Fox to calm down.
When rumors started circulating that Swift, 33, would be present at Arrowhead Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday, September 24, to show support for Travis Kelce, the network requested permission to play some of her songs during the broadcast. However, her record label and publishing company reportedly declined the request, citing speculation about her and Kelce's growing romance. As stated by Richie Zyons, NFL on Fox's lead producer, in a blog post on FoxSports.com on Thursday, September 28, our associate producer Rich Gross had attempted to secure permission to use Swift's music earlier in the week but was unsuccessful.
Zyons stated that the request to feature Swift was denied by her record label and publishing company due to concerns about her personal life. Swift created excitement among fans when she attended the game wearing a Chiefs windbreaker and her iconic red lip. She cheered for Kelce and even celebrated with him after he scored a touchdown. (The Chiefs went on to win the game against the Bears with a score of 41-10.)
Zyons highlighted that although they couldn't utilize Swift's discography to generate further excitement for the event, Fox Sports successfully featured her presence at Arrowhead in their live coverage. According to his blog, they first caught a glimpse of Kelce's suite during player introductions, just moments before the broadcast commenced. Zyons mentioned that Swift was seated alongside Kelce's mother Donna and both of them erupted in cheers as the tight end emerged from the tunnel. This moment was replayed early in the telecast.
Zyons highlighted the importance of balance in the coverage, focusing on both the game and Swift's reactions. Russo exercised restraint by not excessively showing live shots, but saving them for moments when Swift reacted to the game. A standout moment was captured by the low-end-zone cameraman Andy Mitchell, who beautifully captured Swift's joyful expression after Kelce scored a touchdown.
After the Chiefs' victory, Swift was seen leaving the stadium with Travis in a purple convertible, making their way to a private afterparty to celebrate with their teammates. In post-game celebration photos obtained by TMZ, Swift could be seen wrapping her arm around the tight end as they engaged in conversation with other attendees.

According to an exclusive source who spoke with We earlier this week, although there is significant attention on the connection between Swift and Travis, the pair have only had a few encounters.
Taylor and Travis crossed paths just moments after he attempted to give her his phone number during her summer concert," revealed an unidentified source. "They have only spent time together on two occasions."
During the summer, Kelce made an appearance at Swift's Eras Tour in Kansas City, held at Arrowhead Stadium, with the intention of presenting her with a DIY friendship bracelet that bore his contact details. Sadly, he expressed disappointment at not being able to engage in conversation with the pop star before or after the performance. Later on, Kelce extended an invitation to Taylor to witness him in action on the field earlier this month, resulting in her attendance at a game just three days later.
