Paris Hilton is responding to fans who are worried about her children’s sleeping arrangements.

Hilton, 42, posted a TikTok Story on January 9th showing her 11-month-old son Phoenix and 2-month-old daughter London napping in the same room. "Sleepy. So cute. Oh, this little face," she commented as she recorded Phoenix snuggled in his crib with a soft white blanket. Hilton then moved the camera to show London sleeping in a bassinet wrapped in a pink blanket.

“Oh, the princess,” Hilton cooed.

After seeing the clip, some fans expressed concern over the number of blankets near the babies.

One commenter expressed their love for Paris and reminded her to research safe sleep practices for her babies. Hilton acknowledged the advice with gratitude, thanking the commenter for their concern.

Hilton recently thanked everyone for their parenting advice, but she also stood up to those who suggested that her child's head size was a sign of a health problem. She expressed her dismay at the hurtful comments and emphasized the importance of love, respect, and acceptance.

Hilton stated that her son is in "excellent health" and expressed her frustration with the criticism she faces when sharing photos of him. She explained, "If I don't share my baby, people assume I'm not a good mom, and if I do share him, there are those who are cruel and mean-spirited."

Hilton married Carter Reum in 2021 and together they share the joy of parenthood in Phoenix and London. During a February 2023 episode of her “This Is Paris” podcast, she expressed her profound happiness at becoming a mother. "From the moment I laid eyes on [Phoenix], my heart felt so full. I feel like my life is so complete now. I always wanted to be a mom," she revealed.

Paris has acknowledged that becoming a mother has given her a new perspective on her own mother, Kathy Hilton's "strict" approach to parenting.

During a December 2023 interview on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, she stated, "Now that I am a mom, I can totally understand. I am going to be so terrified when she becomes a teenager and wants to go on dates and wants to go out. Just because I know how it is. ... But I don't want to be so strict that she rebels too."

That same month, Paris opened up about the reason she decided to use a surrogate for both of her children.

"I experience panic attacks and difficulty breathing in medical settings, especially when receiving shots," she said. She still carries a lot of trauma from her time at Provo Canyon School in Utah and believes that it would be unhealthy for her and her baby to be in such high-anxiety state.

Paris openly discussed the abuse she endured as a teenager at the school. She appeared before the U.S. Senate in 2021 to testify, revealing that the mistreatment she experienced had a lasting, deeply disturbing impact on her mental health, causing her to struggle with nightmares and insomnia for many years.
