In an exciting update, Kathie Lee Gifford's daughter, Cassidy Gifford, and her husband Ben Wierda have become proud parents. On Saturday, June 24, the 29-year-old actress welcomed her first child, a son named Finn Thomas. Cassidy took to Instagram on Friday, June 30, sharing a heartwarming photo of her holding her newborn's tiny feet, expressing their overwhelming love for him.

Cassidy and Wierda, aged 32, revealed their pregnancy in December 2022 through a photo posted on Instagram. The picture depicted their holiday mantle adorned with three stockings, symbolizing their growing family.

"Our hearts are filled with gratitude as we celebrate this Christmas," the model wrote in the caption. "We eagerly anticipate the arrival of our little peanut in June 2023."

The arrival of the little one occurred three years after Cassidy's marriage to the project manager in June 2020. According to a representative for the Baxters alum, Ben and Cassidy were married in a small ceremony in the backyard of his Michigan home. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the couple chose to keep the guest list limited and intends to have a larger celebration in the future when it is safe to do so.

The couple celebrated their marriage for a second time in fall 2021 in Nashville, surrounded by friends and loved ones. In November of that year, Cassidy expressed her gratitude towards her spouse on social media, accompanied by a photo from their second wedding.

Adding to their family, the Giffords welcomed a new member when Cassidy's older brother, Cody Gifford, and his wife Erika Gifford (formerly Brown) had their first child six months later.

The couple, who got married in September 2020, chose to name their son Frank "Frankie" Michael, in honor of Kathie Lee's late husband, Frank Gifford. Kathie Lee was previously married to the NFL player for almost 30 years before his passing in August 2015 at the age of 84. They have two children together, Cody and Cassidy.

In June 2022, Kathie Lee expressed her overwhelming joy on Twitter, confirming the birth of her first grandchild on May 31, 2022. She thanked God for the precious gift of little Frank Michael Gifford, weighing 8 lbs. 8 oz., describing him as sheer beauty.

This month, Cody and Erika, aged 28, revealed that they are anticipating the arrival of their second child.
