As a recent mother, welcoming her son Phoenix with her husband of almost two years, Carter Reum, 42, in January, Hilton is determined to make a positive impact on the world. Drawing from her own experiences, she is a strong advocate for the reform of troubled teen institutions. She envisions a future where her platform and accomplishments are used for the greater good. Hilton desires a legacy of positivity, transformation, and empowerment.

Did you ever imagine yourself becoming a media mogul while you were growing up?

As a young girl, I would often daydream about my future career as a veterinarian. However, as I got older, my interests drifted towards the captivating worlds of fashion and music, and eventually, entrepreneurship. Nevertheless, my passion for animals persisted throughout the years, leading me to be the proud owner of numerous lovable canines.

Do you think you have learned any valuable lessons from your family's history of successful entrepreneurs?

Certainly. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been surrounded by remarkable mentors since my childhood, including my grandfather, as well as both my parents. They ingrained in me a significant work ethic and imparted the belief that success stems from dedication and pursuing one's aspirations.

During the initial stages of establishing your own enterprise, can you recall a particular encounter that taught you a valuable insight?

After spending a considerable amount of time in this industry, I've realized the importance of surrounding myself with reliable individuals whom I can truly rely on, as it has not been an easy journey for me. Regardless of how determined one might be, it is impossible to accomplish everything alone.

Initially, there were doubts and skepticism surrounding your entrance into the music industry. Yet, today, you have emerged as one of the highest-earning DJs globally. Can you share your approach and strategy towards developing your music career?

I am always driven to push boundaries and explore different aspects of myself. Music has played a crucial role in my healing journey and serves as an incredible medium to express my true self. I wholeheartedly pursue my passion and enjoy being on stage. Recently, I had the privilege to perform at Tomorrowland in front of an enormous crowd, witnessing the sheer joy in their eyes and the euphoria that the music evoked within them. It is an indescribable experience that fills me with immense pride, as it proves all the doubters wrong and solidifies my success in this world.

How did you get into DJing?

I have always had a deep passion for music throughout my entire life. Initially, my involvement in the music scene began with appearances in Las Vegas clubs, where I would simply host parties. However, I soon realized that I desired a more active role in creating the atmosphere. This led me to pursue DJing, transforming my hobby into a profession. Understanding that this field demands technical expertise, I sought guidance from the industry's finest, eagerly absorbing their knowledge. My unwavering dedication and hard work have allowed me to establish myself and earn the incredible opportunity to perform at prestigious music festivals and renowned nightclubs worldwide. It brings me immense joy to share my love for music across the globe.

Even after all these years, how do you continually discover the most effective ways to immerse yourself in popular culture and maintain a buzz around your persona?

What can you share about the renewal of your latest reality show, Paris in Love, for a second season?

The show will premiere on Peacock later this year! While Season 1 focused on the wedding, this upcoming season will delve deeper into the next chapter of my life - navigating motherhood and the arrival of Phoenix. I'm filled with excitement.

Has the transition to becoming a working mom been challenging?

It is undeniably quite challenging to manage everything. I have a great passion for my work, but my baby is my utmost concern. My priorities have undergone a major transformation. I am declining numerous commitments in order to maximize the time spent with [my son]. He is truly my precious little angel.

What’s been the biggest surprise about motherhood?

Just that moms are superheroes.! It’s the hardest job of all, [but] it’s the most rewarding.

Do you think you’ll have more kids?

I can’t wait to have a sister for [Phoenix].

With so much going on, how do you unwind?

[Laughs.] My downtime is limited, but whenever I do have some, I prioritize spending it with my family. Whether it's taking my son Phoenix to the park or simply enjoying their company at home with our puppies and my husband, those moments mean the world to me. I find great joy in sitting together, playing games, and reading books. As my sister, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, always reminds me, these are the moments not to be missed. So, I make the most of my free time by doing just that, along with pursuing my passion for music and art. Painting, cooking, and being with my husband and baby boy bring me immense happiness.

My experience with Netflix's Cooking With Paris was incredibly enjoyable. Do you think there's potential for me to write a cookbook?

Yes. I have actually been strategizing it, contemplating recipes and adorable elements. I will jot them down in my notes. Similar to my cooking show, I always had a penchant for incorporating sparkles and rainbows, and infusing a Parisian vibe into it. Hence, I would be thrilled to create a book in that same delightful manner.

Having shared your harrowing experiences at boarding schools in both your memoir and "This Is Paris" in 2020, you have emerged as a strong advocate against youth abuse. How significant is this work for you?

I take immense pride in the impact of my efforts, which have already resulted in the enactment of laws in 10 states aimed at safeguarding children from abuse. This period in my life has been incredibly empowering. My work on federal legislation in Washington, D.C. is my lasting legacy, and I am truly proud of the journey I have undergone and the person I have become. I have transformed my pain into a purpose.

What's on the horizon for you?

In collaboration with iHeart, I now have my very own podcast named "I am Paris." We have recently released our latest podcast, "The History of the World's Greatest Nightclubs," and we are thrilled to announce that "Trapped in Treatment" season 2 will be available this fall, focused on my advocacy and impact work. Additionally, I am excited to introduce my new cookware line, which will be launching on Walmart and Amazon later this year. Furthermore, I have exciting ventures in the works, including ones in the beauty industry, the mommy and me market, and in the pet sector.

What advice do you have for other young female entrepreneurs?

Keep in mind that every obstacle you face is actually a chance for growth. Embrace these challenges, gain knowledge from them, and leverage them to advance in your entrepreneurial journey. Never hesitate to display your true potential to the world. Set ambitious goals, as the only boundaries that exist are the ones you set for yourself.
