The previous chapters revealed Kuma's ultimate sacrifice for Bonney and the revelation of his memory loss. Now, the flashback has concluded and the current chapter returns to the present timeline with the Egghead War.
Before the Kuma flashback, Bonney was in a dire predicament, with Saturn in his Devil Fruit state, holding her and the other Straw Hat Pirates captive, while Luffy was down after his battle with Kizaru. This leaves Kuma as the only one (or rather, cyborg) who can come to her rescue.
The chapter picks up where the previous one left off, with Bonney transforming back into her child form and offering an apology to Vegapunk. As a 10th birthday gift from Kuma, he presents her with a sun necklace made of sapphire.
Fast forward to the present, Bonney is locked in a fierce battle with Saturn, fighting for survival. In a daring move, she unleashes her formidable Nika-like Future attack on Saturn, which is known as one of the most powerful attacks in the world of One Piece. However, to her dismay, the attack proves ineffective, leaving her in a state of vulnerability.
As a result, Saturn comes to the realization that Bonney's perception of Nika's abilities is limited to only replicating his rubber power.
Meanwhile, as Saturn and Bonney engage in combat, the remaining Straw Hat pirates are immobilized by Saturn's Devil Fruit power, rendering them helpless spectators of the unfolding battle.
The true nature of Bonney’s Devil Fruit power
After everyone else has been restrained, we witness Luffy's futile attempt to regain his strength by consuming food that someone sneaked to him. Unfortunately, Saturn notices and commands that Luffy be restrained with sea stone, thwarting his efforts.
It is later revealed that Bonney's Toshi Toshi no Mi power was bestowed upon her by Saturn. Saturn had previously conducted experiments on people, using extracted medicine to grant them Devil Fruit powers, eliminating the need to actually consume the fruit. He gave this medicine to Ginny, Jewelry Bonney's mother, who unfortunately contracted the Sapphire Scales disease as a side effect. However, Saturn did not anticipate that both the Devil Fruit power and Sapphire Scales would be passed on to her daughter, Bonney.
In this chapter, we also learn about the true extent of Bonney's Devil Fruit abilities. She has the power to transform into any future version of herself that she can imagine, which supports the fan theory about the power of imagination. However, as she learns more about her future self, her abilities become more limited. When Bonney starts to doubt her knowledge of Nika, her transformed Nika form becomes too weak to battle against Saturn. As the chapter comes to a close, Saturn prepares to kill Bonney while she apologizes to her father (Kuma) for sacrificing his life to save hers.
But all is not lost. In a dramatic climax, Kuma reaches Egghead Island and defeats the Marines who had surrounded the group. He rescues Bonney and shields her from Saturn's attack as an intense battle unfolds. The chapter concludes with Kuma's enraged expression as he readies to strike Saturn. However, the final panel shows Saturn's fearful face just before impact.
Fans will be disappointed to know that we’re getting another break for two weeks, so they’ll have to wait and see what happens to Saturn when Kuma’s rage is unleashed.

As a hard fan of One Piece, I am eagerly anticipating the release of Chapter 1103. The previous chapters have been an emotional rollercoaster, with the Kuma flashback and the intense battles. I can't wait to see how the story unfolds in the upcoming chapter.
